NOT Delivered when promised
I phoned to check delivery, after I ordered the underlay on the website. I was told that it would be delivered next day, as it was being prepared for delivery as we spoke.
I waited for the underlay until 4.00 pm the next and I phoned to make sure it was on it,s way. I was told that it was leaving one day late and I would receive it the following day, which I did.

Brilliant advice and service!
I want laminate flooring but there are noise problems between flats where I live, so searched for info and comparisons of underlays with acoustic insulation properties. What a nightmare! Each company seemed to have different ways of giving the acoustic insulation effiiency, decibels reduction, sones (measure of loudness), or just something vague. Sites giving advice were not much better, not giving any idea of how to compare sones to decibels, or saying that no underlay gives more than a 3dB reduction in noise. Then there is impact noise insulation versus airborne noise insulation. In the end I phoned All About Underlay, as they have a good range of underlays, and they got an advisor to ring me back. He was great, and I was able to get the best underlay for my needs. It came quickly, and even though the rolls are really heavy, the driver carried them from where he was parked round the corner. Really good service, and we (and the neighbours downstairs) are very happy with the underlay.

well chuffed
only decided to replace the underlay at the last minute and found this site through top cashback - found it was tons cheaper than if i had bought it at the shop with my carpet so ordered it . didnt have the one i wanted but they upgraded it to a thicker one which was fab. i have never had such a spongy underlay and it really was luxury to walk on. would highly recommend the quality and price of the products on offer

Amazing service resulting in lovely finished room
The one we chose wasn't in stock which would have meant we couldn't finish decorating our living-room before the furniture arrived. The company then supplied an upgraded one so we could go ahead. Much appreciated

We are very sorry that the underlay has not met your expectations. There are two types of noise that people worry about, impact noise and airborne noise, and underlays appropriate for both are featured on the web page. Dreamwalk is excellent for impact noise but poor for airborne noise, so I assume this is where you are having a problem. We do explain that Colours Red is a better underlay for airborne noise in the Q&A at the bottom of the page, but to make it even clearer in future we will split the underlays into three separate pages - best for impact noise reduction, best for airborne noise reduction, and best for both. We should have this change in place in November.
