I ordered my tool from an authorised dealer, 3 weeks later it managed to develop a fault. Alientech support (Italy) suggested I send it back for repair. After contacting alientech uk my new replacement tool was sent out immediately and delivered next day by DHL, amazing costumer service that saved me a lot of stress. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

Kess 3 needs better usb socket
I have been an alientech customer for over 10 years since the release of kess3 I have had too post tool back too alientech 3 times in 18 months every time the repair wasn’t covered by warranty. Costing over £2500 in repairs and import fees in the last 18 months the last repair the kess3 was working fine till software update. I was using kess usb and power supply at the time of update.

Our technical records show that your unit has been serviced three times over the last 18 months, each time for physical damage to the USB-C or J2 connectors. Because the parts were found to be mechanically stressed, the repairs could not be covered under warranty. We fully understand that the resulting costs and downtime are disappointing.
That said, we want to help you get back to work with confidence. As this relates to physical connector damage, we’d like to review the set-up with you to identify any likely cause and prevent a recurrence—for example, an accidental impact, unexpected mechanical strain, or the use of cabling different from that supplied with your KESS3.
Your satisfaction matters to us, and we are committed to providing a definitive solution and ensuring the correct operation of your tool going forward.

Useless customer service, if you ask them a question, they reply to you with 5 questions which are completely irrelevant, they don't even read your queries, they just don't like to be asked anything, terrible company, if you want good customer service try another tool like Flex from Magicmotorsport or CMD.

KESS 3 killed two ECUs cars don't start
I am professional tuning company. I have bought a new Kess3 Master/ Ktag tool by recommendation of my software company. I have done two cars and both cars don't start now both ECU's are fu..ked and two customers cars are nor starting. We can not make any communications with the ecu s..Think before you buy this tool. Old version is good but soon it will be obsolete.

Save your money and buy other tools
Such an awful company to work with, whatever your problem is be sure to know they either cannot or will not help you. Whether you own master tool or slave tool they are only interested in spouting dribble at you through the clunky 'support request' portal that almost always translates to "we don't know how to fix your problem and we cannot help you, but do makesure to pay us more money with yearly subs ok"
They never ever admit fault and never expect an apology
