I was recently stopped by Southeastern train for fare evasion. I got in touch with Aletta Shaw, as I read reviews for their outstanding work - I can 100% say I was not let down.

From the onset, Emilia Aletta took control with great professionalism and talked me through the process. She reassured me of the risks and ways Aletta Shaw can mitigate any damages.

The third house conveyance for me using AlettaShaw Solicitors and the helpful staff provided an impressive service each time. The most recent transaction was during the Stamp Duty holiday when everyone involved in house sales/purchases was under incredible stress. AlettaShaw calmly kept me fully informed of progress and, from what I could deduce, seemed to be the most proactive Practice in the chain. I’m not intending to move house again any time soon but, if I was, would have no hesitation in instructing AlettaShaw.

They seem to be professional but only a couple of them are. They only need the money, their prices are very high in regards of services they give. They are not my next choice.

Bullying liars. As the opposing party in a family law issue, I even felt vaguely sorry for my ex partner for using this bunch of incompetents. The directors are worse than useless, losing my responses, chasing me, no doubt charging their client more and more as a result of their incompetence.

Was advised/pushed to proceed another course against my better judgement, getting absolutely nowhere! It becomes a tit for tat with the other solicitor whilst my bill was going up. My representative resigns without my knowledge, i am pushed from pillar to post with very little knowledge of my case, hounded for payment in an almost threatening tone. Case still ongoing having to represent myself now and in huge debt thanks to these incompetent lot! The managing director is obviously sick of doing the job as that is very clear. Unless you are willing to carry on footing the bill with little consistency go ahead you may be a lucky one, just beware there is a huge staff turnover....????

We had a property transaction in which things kept going wrong, but the team were calm and professional throughout and managed to get everything sorted for us in good time. Highly recommend.

We have a very good experience using Aletta Shaw. They were very professional and we had a high level of communication, even if it was for a quick update. For what is normally a very stressful time, they helped keep it to a minimum. We used James Ray and was he was always happy to help.

Awful. Poor service from the start. Was originally overlooked but accepted the error and was appointed a different solicitor to handle my case. Things improved but when that guy left, it got worse than ever before. An admin error left me in limbo for 3 months and not knowing that my divorce was finalised.

I went to Alettashaw for help and advice with my divorce. I feel they gave me the best advice and I got the result I wanted in the end. I would definitely recommend Alettashaw to anyone that needs trusted advice and support. They always called me back promptly if they were busy at the time.

ALETTA SHAW solicitors Bexleyheath. AVOID AT ALL COST !!!
Absolutely appalling! I was charged three times for the same work because the solicitors kept resigning from this company ! I’m now taking them to the Legal Ombudsman because they was so incompetent! They unbelievably published my new partners Bank records to my estranged wife’s solicitors during form e exchange ! They couldn’t even get my name right after nearly two years of correspondence...my divorce after TWO years is still nowhere near finished...avoid this company like the plague they have cost me thousands and I’ve now had to instruct another solicitor to start the process all over again !

Alleta Shaw incompetent Solicitors at its best.

This is possibly due to the company being run by a Managing Director that lacks attentiveness, intelligence, morals and ethics.

They are not able to even type up an invoice properly. That may seem like nothing….right?

It gets better..

Not recognising miss clauses within a contract, their own client had to points them out to them.

Not recognising or understanding the use of English used by third party to establish property is not signed off and will not be signed off anytime soon.

Not double checking details or information from client being forwarded on to them for the best interest of client and their own reputation.

Choose those that actually care.

Aletta Shaw dealt with both our late mothers probate and will service for my wife and I. In both cases, Katrina dealt with matters promptly, professionally and was very understanding during a difficult time. We are now working with Aletta Shaw to work on conveyancing for our mothers property so that the whole process is complete with the Probate. I would not hesitate in recommending Aletta Shaw to anyone who is in a similar situation as the pressure was truly taken off the families shoulders. Again big thanks to Katrina and the team at Aletta Shaw.
