Unbelievably Bad
Called customer services three times to find out what happened to my order - same response about getting back to me 'within 48 hours' - still nothing. Courier service refused to deliver my parcel, then sent it halfway up the country to a sorting office. Aldi then claimed it had been 'delivered.'
Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had - wish I'd read these reviews first.
Bad experience!!!!
I have placed an order in November , called customer services 3 times only to hear the same thing all over again. No help, no chance to speak with anyone able to help. Such a disappointment!!! I haven't recived the order nor the money back .Do not use this company .
Prints are ok - but they started with cheating on me... for 80 pence?!
I got an offer that if I sign up I'll get 10% off my order. I did sign up (the offer didn't mention agreeing to any newsletters) and I uploaded my photos and altering them I've found out that I am not getting any discount.
I decided that I won't cancel my 3 hours work just to get 10% but I thought they can apply it later on. No chance.
The customer services cannot be bothered. You paid and now shut up and be happy. They said that I had to agree to get newsletter. I asked why an offer didn't state this - they said that they don't know but I am not getting my discount because of the sake of not giving what they promissed. well... hmmm.
Well they've earned 80p on it...
Do not use Aldi Photo!
Amazingly hopeless organisation - don't think of using it. Unreliable, disorganised and an arrogant ineffective helpline. 13 days and they still ahven't printed my order let alone dispatched it
Photos were all different sizes, not 6x4 per invoice & order
I ordered about 20 photo prints, 6x4, from Aldi Photos. The prints were delivered a week later, various slzes, all non-standard, none of them were 6x4.
I emailed customers services to complain, but they have yet to respond.
If you are OK getting a completely different product than what your ordered and paid for, I would recommend Aldi Photos. If you are actually after something specific to your requirements then you will probably want to shop elsewhere.
Better than expected
I saw the poor reviews after purchasing 293 photos and was a bit wary. The photos arrived in exactly 7 days after I ordered them. All pictures were good quality in my opinion and were printed on kodak photo paper. They were all of different sizes (6x4", 5x8", a few were almost square) but that was because I didn't crop them down - which I honestly don't mind and prefer as it printed the whole image. The photos arrived in 5 different packets inside one box. For 5p per picture and only £1.99 delivery, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend. Hopefully their next customers have good experiences also.
No prints after over a month and terrible customer service.
I ordered my prints on 2nd June and was told they would be delivered 8th June. They were actually dispatched on 17th June and then never arrived.
I paid for delivery but am not sure that the money was spent on delivery because Aldi Photo do not know where my prints are or if they were delivered. Surely, they would know that as part of the delivery service?
I called twice and emailed and no one apologised for my photos being lost. When I made contact for the third time, I pointed this out and the customer service agent said, "Sorry, people don't normally call for apologies they call for their photos." Having waited over a month for no print to arrive, the sarcasm and total lack of interest wasn't appreciated. He also couldn't tell me anything, saying it was a different team's responsibility but he couldn't transfer me to them.
I'm still waiting on a response to my email from a specialist complaint handler but I don't hold out much hope. I've been waiting 4 days for a reply and her initial email said to enquire at the local post office which seems like passing the buck and is impossible without a 'failed delivery' card. The wait continues.
An embarrassment to the Aldi brand.
Awful
I ordered thirteen 7x5 photos. For some reason they've all arrived in different sizes, small and large.
Poor quality prints
Most of my photos have come back dark not what I was expecting but they were cheap so I suppose I got what I paid for. Won't use again & won't recommend.
Bad photos and TERRIBLE customer service
Photos were marked, poor colour, all different sizes and a bit fuzzy. (I ordered re-prints from Boots which were perfect so it wasn't the my camera or anything)
Tried calling, email, facebook and twitter to get a refund, multiple times for each one but have been ignored about a dozen times and then told that I had emailed Aldi and Aldi photo was a completely different company that had nothing to do with them and they didn't have any contact information for them, they ignored me when I asked why they allowed another company to use their marketing and trademark and provide contact links on their website-I was ignored again
Used their online photo service
I gave them a try because they were VERY cheap and to my amazement the pictures came back on good quality Kodak paper with vibrant colours and as good as anywhere else I have used. Will most certainly use them again and again.
