What is with Albertsons constantly…

What is with Albertsons constantly raising their prices. These sales they have going on are a joke. You have to by 3 or 4 items to get the sale price. They wonder why people are stealing from the store. You can't afford to buy the food.

Do not order delivery from them

Do not order delivery from them. They price gouge. What they charge for items in Arizona is TWICE the price that you would pay for the same item delivered from Fry's or Walmart. They are a complete ripoff.

The weekly ad shows ice cream at a sale…

The weekly ad shows ice cream at a sale price, but only when you buy FOUR products! Why do I need to buy 4? This practice made me leave Frys. Now I am going to leave Albertsons and shop consistently at Winco, where I can buy one item at the sale price!

Go to Walmart Instead

This location is terrible! Corporate needs to look at the management of this store.

Went in for 3 items (+water for a dog I saw chained up outside), it took me 35 minutes going through the self check out!!!!

Only 2 cashiers.

Unb6! My advice to corporate is to have your management team go work for Walmart and maybe in a few years then, hire them!

Your prices are too high and customer service is non existent

In a world of no good reviews

In a world of no good reviews, I want to shout out to the Managers across the food chain at Albertsons, because I have never, in my 50 years of grocery shopping, found a better employee. KIMBERLY at the Self Check Out station has made everyone's life more happy and beyond compassionate, loving, kind, and any other adjective that I can find. She is such a dream to have at her station after my long day of work. She is so amazing I can't even fathom higher praise....she's the only thing that makes me truly happy after my life each and everytime I shop at her checkout.

Please give her a compliment every single day, and probably a huge raise! 3614 W State St, Boise, ID 83703 is her store!

Sale items always out of stock

Out of stock on Big Buy bacon & no rain checks.
Next to impossible to order online with your app.
The check out person was RUDE.
I have had this problem before, but did not write a review...
SLOULD HAVE‼️
Seems that if you run an ad, that you should stock up on the sales item‼️🤔
With this type of poor management, I'll limit my visits to your store.

Too many issues to list...

Horrible, barely usable website when ordering deliveries. How hard is it to hire IT people who know what they're doing? Anytime a product is out they always substitute with the most expensive items. And if an item is on sale that requires you to buy a certain amount, they almost always say they're partially out of that item, forcing you to pay full price for half of what you wanted. Anytime I call to speak with someone to help with any of these or other issues, I am on hold for 20 minutes, or bounced around from department to department. This company simply does not care. They act like they're "too big to fail." I hate writing reviews, but I have had an issue the last 6 times I've ordered from them, and don't have other options in my area. I cannot recommend Albertson's less

2 MAJOR things that need to be fixed on app

I love the delivery but there are 2 things very wrong with the app.
#1 - They make you PRE tip the driver and no way to adjust the tip after delivery. Who pre-tips anyone? At least Walmart lets you adjust the tip after delivery. I only tip in cash now.
#2 - Earlier today I made an order, accidently clicked pick up instead of delivery. Chatted with customer bot who read the rules to me, have to cancel if I want to change how I want to get my order. Easy, I canceled. Clicked reorder, same exact items costs $25 more! Apparently after speaking to customer service online, he stated once you redeem a coupon, is gone, even if you canceled. The limits on sale items, same thing. I used up my limits and coupons on a canceled order! Their customer rep was cool, issued me enough points to cover the loss of coupons and points I used on canceled order and I can reorder tomorrow. C'mon Albertsons... even Walmart has you beat on this!

Shopped at this store in Lake Elsinore…

Shopped at this store in Lake Elsinore on Riverside Drive. Had a full cart of food adding up to close to $200.00 . Went to check out and there was nothing open but self check. I wasn’t the only person questioning this. The woman over seeing the self check outs was so rude. All we wanted was someone to check us out and bag the food but instead she says we dont have any one and asked if I know how to use the self checkouts. I also complained to the store manager which said just ask for a checker which I did and offered a gift card, which I refused. I have shopped at Albertsons for years and never have seen such a poorly run store. I’m not paying sky high food prices and have to check myself out and bag my food. Will never return

Do not buy Albertson's flowers

Do not buy Albertson's flowers. OK well at least in Arlington, TX at the Sublett store. So my sweet husband brings me flowers and when I unwrap them they are covered in mold all down the stems. I purchase flowers at Walmart and other stores all of the time and have never had this happen. So I take them back, check around the tip and the parts of the flowers I can see but when I get home the leaves and stems are a mess. As soon as I put them in the water it gets nasty and brown. This is not normal for fresh cut flowers. I am not going to take them back again but will also not purchase floral from them again either.

ripped off by Albertsons, no apology or even a reply

I ordered small for a pick up over 2 hours later. Arrived early for the pick up. No one come to deliver our order NO OTHER customers were in pick up. We called, put on hold over 10 minutes. Went in, Customer Service NO HELP, managers no where to be found, no one at all in the pick up and go area. When the lady finally went in, she sternly said "YOU NEED TO GET IN YO CAH" She brought out an order, for a car that pulled up at 533pm, some time later she brought our order but refused to put it in the car. she just stood on the far side until I got out and she handed me our bags. Later that night, we looked and saw that our account was charged almost $15 after 5pm, reason unknown, we didn't buy anything when we got there, we had paid for our order when we placed it sometime around 2pm, we did not authorize that charge, contacted albersons email text call and never heard a thing, over 2 weeks since, as far as we know someone at albertsons got our info thru the order we placed and got something for themselves, we didnt get it or help from albertsons resolving that or the bs on the pick up order, we had to cancel that account and reopen a new one to protect ourselves, as the $15 dollars was probably a test to see if they could order and would likely be followed by several hundred or thousands of dollars charged to our account. We couldn't hope that wouldn't happen we had to protect ourselves since Albertsons made no effort to. If it happened to us, it will happen to you or your friends and family. Dont shop at all at albersons, go anywhere else, or this will happen to you.

The “5” rating is based on David

The “5” rating is based on David, the pleasant and highly competent Pharmacist technician who went the extra mile to correct billing errors. He also made sure I got my medications, which are the type that require extra effort for pharmacies to readily source.

The reason I stay with Albertsons pharmacy is because it has staff like David and a Pharmacist like Trish, responsive professionals who I know I can contact directly to resolve issues.

As an aside to comments made in other reviews, all pharmacies have problems with staffing and their supply chains now.

There is no option to cancel your order…

There is no option to cancel your order to be delivered the next day. Ie. I made an order. Woke up super early and noticed the sale prices were no longer active and my order was twice as much money. I tried to cancel but no cancel order option and chat support is not available over night. This is frustrating because the app says my order is being assembled when it’s not because they are closed!

Some Safeway Tractor Trailer Drivers…

Some Safeway Tractor Trailer Drivers are RECKLESS!
I could "not" tell whether it was a Man or Woman because it was at Night.
There is NO "Safe"way" with this suppose to be "Professional Driver"
My Company Professional Drivers, such as myself (over 25 years) pride ourselves as "Saving Lives" every day, not "Risking" them.
On Friday Night, May 17, 2024 between 10:55 PM and 11:10 PM one of their Safeway Tractor Trailer drivers came off of the 83 South Ramp, onto 695 South, towards Glen Burnie, Maryland, "mashing on the fuel". You could hear the Motor "Screeming"!
Instead of moving over 1 lane at a time, the driver decides to change 2 lanes at once, with me being in the second lane. The same lane I had been in for the previous 10 miles. They almost sideswiped me. Then, after they realized I was Standing my ground, in my lane, not going to force me into another lane of traffic, they decide to ride the dotted lane line, like it's going to scare me. I am a Professional driver of 25 years and big trucks do not scare me. Then, they get behind me and ride my bumper like an ass, because they do not pay for the truck Liability Insurance. Then, they pass me on the left. As they pass me on the Left, they turn on a Bright LED light affixed to his Passenger Side Door (possibly used when Backing Up to Loading Docks at Night) to "blind my vision" as they Speed past me.
Then, they proceed to Mash on the Fuel while in the "Well Posted" (Above and on Sides of Road) "NO TRUCKS IN LEFT LANE" as they continue to pass other cars, Recklessly. Absolutely, NO regard for the "Safety" of other drivers. They are mighty lucky I had to be somewhere because I would have followed them to their next destination and the situation would not have been a good one. I tried calling to complain and I get people in another country that had NO contact information to file a complaint. No wonder some of their drivers are reckless. They need to monitor their Speed by GPS and have Cameras in their trucks. Fortunately, I am an experienced Professional Driver of 25 years of "Safe Driving". This could have been someone's Child or Grandkid. If they had hit me, Albertsons definately would have been sued. Not because I want to sue, but because they have a "Moron" behind the wheel that obviously feels like they can bully cars. Albertsons needs to get serious about Road Safety and put GPS and Cameras in your trucks!
ALARMING Statistic:
90% of ALL Auto Accidents are Preventable, Human Error.
Which also means, 90% of people killed on roads would still be Alive, if it was not for Reckless people!
Let that soak in for a moment.
It is simply a matter of time before they kill someone's Loved One! It's not if, it's when this person will kill someone being behind the wheel. Peoples Wives, Husbands, Brothers, Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, etc.
Absolutely Rediculas!
No Load on Earth worth traveling like this.

Google pay?

The store on Mission in Oceanside advertises that they take all types of digital pay, but when you try to use it, it doesn't work. You have lost 2 sales in the last days. Why would you advertise it if you don't take it? Very frustrating!

The new app is a nightmare

The new app is a nightmare. When I try to sign on, I need an email, but there is no email associated with this account. When I try to make a new account, the phone number is "already in use" and I can't use it. I spent 30 minutes with customer service in the store (no help) and time on the phone (could not help me.) Then I was told they'd call me back and to please keep the "line open." I said that I may need to use my phone and will not be keeping it open for Albertsons when they chose to call me.

Stupid App Oversight

Via a frustrating call, a customer service "supervisor" confirmed a mind-boggling reality:
"...there is NO WAY to add an item* on our website to "LIST" in your Albertsons App - UNLESS it has a coupon associated with it"
-- IMO, an irrational & counter-productive bit of [failed] programming by a mature, established grocery chain,
-- Looks like it's back to 60's shopping technology for me: a slip of paper and a pen! ARGGGH!
-- Or I could just do my grocery shopping somewhere else - preferably with actual consumer-friendly tech.

I purchased a Gift card from Sephora on…

I purchased a Gift card from Sephora on January 29th at Albertson's location at 28090 S Western Ave. The person who received the gift card was told at Sephora that the gift card amount was zero. I am glad I attached a receipt with the gift card.I was so upset and at the same time embarrassed with the situation so I called Albertson's customer service and they gave me a number to call which after a week nobody contacted me. I called the number again and they said they lost the information I provided and they needed that again... So frustrating. Today I decided to go to Albertson's store and ask for the manager. The person just told me " that will be me " with a really bad attitude. I explained everything to her and she grabed a piece of paper and wrote down a phone number and handed to me. I told her that I already called them with no success.She did not even wait till I say something and turned her back talking something else with another employee. I reminded her that I was not done yet and she couldn't care less. I have been a loyal customer since 1999 and I had a really bad experience today.
The manager name is Christine and she should be working with something else other than a manager.

Patty the manager and Melissa need to…

Patty the manager and Melissa need to be trained on customer service and transactions. I will never return here again. I am from out of town and never have I ever been serviced so horribly. If I had the time I would’ve put all my items back and went to Kroger. Someone recommended this place.
