Poor customer support, liars
I would give this company zero stars. I have been with alarm force for 15 years never missed a payment. The panel wasn't working one day and I was trying to fix the volume, I accidentally hit the silent alarm. A cancellation option popped up and I quickly cancelled the alarm, less than seconds after it was alerted. Also no one called to verify the alert either. Now I have received a 200 bill. First of all, why have a cancellation option if it's not honoured, what idiot programmed the panel. The company is leaving all the blame on me. After arguing only 50% was credited. Sorry alarm force, 100% should be credited back. Oh and let's not mention that it shows in their system the alarm was cancelled a second after...but they don't care. This is how alarm force treats it's loyal customers. Do not trust this company go somewhere else please. Alarmforce you should make this right by giving my refund. Especially since you have the proof that the alert was cancelled. Very poor support on your part.
Had bell installed cameras and other company are better.
Had bell installed cameras and the company witch I'm guessing is alarmforce can only install them eight feet high. Yet bell internet can come and put their internet ten and a half feet high. A camera company that can't go more than eight feet high might as well go out of business. Because I could buy my own camera, install it higher. AND NOT PAY ANYTHING A MONTH. So change your dumb policy because it's stupid.
worst service..don't use it
Poor management and Lack of Communication
Very crooked and management at the time of my employment. They hire you on saying you're a contractor but In fact you're actually an employee of them and all your expenses were out of your pocket. The supervisor was horrible and the guy had no experience with on site installation. It was a horrible experience. Equipment installed were garbage as well as we had problems on site with malfunction refurbished equipment and half of the time it should've been recycled. All in all, a nightmare past.
When I moved my business I also moved…
When I moved my business I also moved the security system. The technician said the internet provided by Bell (original provider with the package) was unable to support the cameras. He advised that I was within my right to cancel the service. Customer service however disagreed and stated I was to pay out the remainder of the contract even though they could not provide the service for the contract I had purchased. I was offered a 50% reduction however that was still approx $1200-1500 for no service. I refused to pay the bill and now they have destroyed my credit rating
Used to be OK, now more like a scam
Been a customer for a few years now. Things started quite well, but have gradually deteriorated to the point of being worse than useless. Imagine an emergency service where nobody answers the phone! Worse still, having triggered an alarm accidentally I was unable to cancel it and several fire trucks turned up, wasting everyone's time and money. AVOID!

I work in bell
I work in bell, but never take bell smart home otherwise you will regret it. Thanks
Alarm Force BELL Smart Home Scam
I entered into a 3 year contract with Alarm Force Bell Smart Home to get a discount on my 3G internet service. Both services ended up being scams. Besides the internet service, which only produced 15% of the promised speed, the Alarm Force Bell Smart Home device was crippled from the outset. Within days I was getting alerts on my phone of no remaining storage. Their whole modus operanda is to sell contracts on crippled systems with insufficient cloud storage for the purpose they were intended in expectation they would goad you into buying additional storage. What a nightmare.

Wise I could give zero star rating …
Wise I could give zero star rating Started originally with Alarm Force was a great company. Bell took over and since July 2021 we have been getting false alarms and even have had fire alarm go off in middle of night...no fires. Tech's have been at house several times to attempt to fix never solves the problem. One tech's suggestion was to disconnect fire/smoke alarm? Have tried to call supervisor several times but he never returns calls. Bell should stick to cell phones they don't know anything about alarms.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. My equipment happened to stop working and I called for tech support, but then realized my initial 3 year contract was up anyway, so I didn't bother getting new equipment. My contract says "This Agreement will not renew automatically. If you wish to continue receiving the Services after the Term expires, you must enter into a new agreement with us (a "Renewal Agreement")..." Well guess what? They continued charging my card anyway! When I realized that, I called to cancel. The first time, they didn't actually cancel the account. When I noticed another charge go through, I had to call again! Finally cancelled. I asked for a refund for all of the months after my contract had expired and they refused. I put in a dispute with my credit card company and got refunded 3 of the 4 months (not sure why but whatever). Then I received an email from Alarmforce saying I owed for those 3 months! Unbelievable! So make sure you call to cancel your account if you want out after the initial term!

I don’t even get the stuff in
I don’t even get the stuff in! Just ordered yesterday and realize that the email they sent me is different from what they told me. Now I’m here trying to cancel before they come in and install and now I’m having a hard time to cancel! Already on the phone over 2 hrs transferring every damn min!
Fall detection/Medical alert device - Terrible service by Bell...
Bell took over the servicing of the Medical GPS Fall detectors. Since we subscribed to the service, Bell has decided not to sell any more subscriptions. This review is for Bell's servicing of the existing customers. We had issues with the fall detection unit. Bell said the needed to replace the unit. We have now been waiting 8 days for a replacement. Bell does not send these devices using expedited shipping. They say it will be 5-7 days for the replacement to arrive. It would appear the first unit got lost in the mail. Now, we have to wait another 5-7 days. This is totally unacceptable service from Bell. You are either in this business or not. It would appear they are not. Bell has no problem taking the monthly fees. However, they are not really in this business anymore.
They are cheat
They are cheat. I their service with bell internet. Price was around 23/mo. After a year I stopped bell internet. They just increased to 45/mo without informing. When I enquired I found out that that was because the concession was due to bundle. I wanted to stop alarm services. They told that it is 3 years contract. And if I terminate in between I have to pay full remaining period fees. This is cheating.
scum on earth
scum on earth. Bell rep tells me $35 a month with no contract. tech shows up, sets up subar equipment as he’s about to leave gives a yellow piece of paper to sign and verbally says “this is to confirm completed installation” - fast forward a year later, i need to stop the service as im about to move; turns out the yellow paper was a 3 year contract (fine printed). customer “support” asks for $1,400 to get out of the contract. retail price of equipment at the time of installation <$500. Now it’s in collection with no recourse. The $ value is too low for small court. So in conclusion, extortion by a giant scumbag company ran by scumbags. hope your lives are as miserable as your morals
I wish I’ve red this before….
I wish I’ve red the reviews before I signed with them, the only reason I signed with them is because I needed a service ASAP. And they responded quickly, the camera works fine for 2 months and now it’s not sensing motion, delayed /frozen clips and super rude customer service they’re only good at you at start but they’ll treat you like garbage once you’re not a priority anymore. I’ve been a customer for just 2 months now and this is what I get a later date for repair they can’t even fit their time with your schedule when they’re suppose to be the one that’s flexible. Because it’s their faulty service. I can’t imagine those long time customers with this kind of service. I’ll definitely take notes from the reviews here as soon as my contract ends I’ll switch to a much more better service provider.
When alarm force owned it it was great
When alarm force owned it it was great. No issues. Ever since bell took over (without telling us by the way, which is really deceptive) our cameras constantly go out, the doorbell camera won’t work and Bell “can’t” fix it. And now the app isn’t working. I’m getting fed up.
If I could give them -1 I would
If I could give them -1 I would. We have them at home and at our business and we are now switching to ADT. Avoid Bell smart home for any security needs. The hardware and software is unreliable and their technicians and customer service is laughable.
Bell should be ashamed to be affiliated with such a poorly run company.
This company is terrible! Bell should be ashamed to be affiliated with such a poorly run company. These people can barely organize their own employees well enough to complete their installations. It really makes you wonder what would happen in an actual emergency. Don't bother wasting your time with this company!
