Inability to deliver
I ordered something in October and it was set to release in November. I paid the full amount plus shipment at that time. I understood that there was ongoing shipping and tariff issues so I remained patient. I waited until January to reach out and they informed me of delays, so I remained patient.
As the months drew by and word came of JP post resuming shipment, I assumed the would start sending things out. They asked me to pay an additional tariff invoice and I was happy to do so as I understood the US was at fault for many of the issues. However, after paying the invoice 2 months passed with no update. I wrote them many times to receive a real update but nothing tangible was given to me.
After pressing them they told me I would have to pay another 16,000 yen to have my item shipped to me. It seems very predatory that they would drag my order out for so long when they clearly had the item and they simply would not ship it at the agreed upon rate.
I asked for a full refund due to their inability to deliver upon the agreed terms and they have not responded to me since.
It was my first time using the service and it has fallen severely short to say the least. I cannot in good faith recommend any ever use this service.

Aitai Kuji was an extremely reliable…
Aitai Kuji was an extremely reliable company. Tariffs have caused a lot of problems for them resulting in considerable delays (8-9 months) for orders being shipped out. I had to pay an additional ¥16750 today for shipping on top of the ¥15700 I had paid when I initially ordered the items bringing the total for JUST SHIPPING to ¥32450 (roughly 200 USD). I could understand a little more being needed since I did placed this order in June 2024 but was not expecting to pay an additional 100 USD for shipping. Once all of my orders have been fulfilled, I will no longer being utilizing their services.

Beware
Pre ordered items so was expecting things to take a while, however recieved no updates. They claimed order had been posted on their side (Japan Post), then they claimed it had been lost, several months of delays, no items and no offer of a refund. If you buy here make sure you use a credit card or some way you can get your money back.

Great service, great price, and very reliable. They respond fast to inquiries. Even with the long delays as result of the tariff situation, they were able to address my questions on the status of my order and shipped fast when able to. Package was very well packed. Any issues I faced was a result of local customs, and the current international trade situation.
I will definitely pre order more in the future.

The first time I ordered with them it took months for them to let me know it wasn’t in stock and they had to refund me, which meant it was sold out everywhere else by the time they informed me. The second time was two years ago, and my order is still marked as “processing.” I would never order from them again.
Pre-order
It had been almost a year since I pre-ordered an item. After contacting them, customer service replied very quickly with clear explanations: since it was a pre-order from China, they hadn’t received the product yet. As soon as they got it, they shipped it right away and I received the confirmation.
