If only I could rate this app 0 star. Disappointed is an understatement. Their customer support is very poor. I signed in, verified my account even linked to another site as payment method. Few hours later they unverified me claiming verification is in review. I reached out to support they claimed it was a bug in their system and the technical team was working on it. It has been 20 days still no assistance. My money is there and I want to withdraw but still no help. They stopped replying to my messages on their support page. I even suggested I reverify no reply. Imagine being your first time trying a financial service app and you encounter such problems. I just want my money back. I wish I had read the reviews before trusting them. All they did before were generic responses. I did everything they asked but still no help. Wouldn't recommend this app!!

The most easiest and fastest means of receiving money in foreign currency and withdrawing the money in your own local currency.
They are very trustworthy and transparent. I so much love the app.

Absolute trash service. My payment has been delayed by a week and I've still not received it. All I've gotten is Generic IT responses from my raised ticket. Half the advertised services are region-locked and they don't warn you. Want an option other than crypto? Tough luck, all the other options either glitch and don't go through or aren't functioning anymore. This platform is dying and not worth the hassle.

Airtm is fraud. I initiated a direct withdraw transaction to my bank account. They write in the cabinet that transaction will be labeled as "USDC Stellar" but funds will arrive to the bank account in 2-3 business days. After 5 business days funds do not arrive. The customer support service is below bottom. First, they say that in their system the transaction is labeled as "USDC Stellar" and transfer "to USDC Stellar" was completed. Update. After 40 days my money were returned to my Airtm account and I have withdrawn them with another method. Direct withdrawal option doesn't work here.

Do not use! We were scammed by one of their users and they closed my ticket and did not follow up. There is no safety from a buyer sending money via their platform and seems like a great way for scammers to look legit and take your crypto.

Horrible customer service..!!!, they will permanently suspended your account without explaining the reason.

They straight up just stole my money. I tried over and over to complain to customer service but their customer service is all AI. It just sends you in circles while your money is gone...Oh, and they even locked my account after they stole my money. SCAM, STAY AWAY

It's a scam. I sent $111 to a cashier with attached payment proof but he refused to pay me my money and airtm should take action against him and return my money but they closed my case and didn't listen to my complaint

First of all, I want to say that I’m a recurring user of this platform and I have never had any serious issues before. However, the attention and service I am receiving in this situation is extremely concerning. On November 19th, I made a deposit on Airtm, and my funds have been held with no explanation. I opened support tickets, provided all the required information, and I haven’t received any serious or useful response in over 10 days.

The most worrying part is the complete lack of communication: there is no information about the reason for the hold, the status of the case, or the next steps. They simply tell me to “wait 3 days,” then “wait 5 business days,” and the last message said I should wait approximately 3 weeks just to receive any type of update. On top of that, they close my tickets without justification.

I urgently need my funds to be released or a proper solution, especially because I trusted the information provided on their site, which states that deposits should be processed quickly.

Anything crypto should raise a tiny red flag. I did a small freelance task that paid in the low double digits, and they paid me through Airtm, I tried to actually get the money when I did the task, but it was convoluted so I gave up and forgot about it
Today I got two mails at the same time one saying my account had been inactive for 6 months, and one saying it had been inactive for 9 months. After 3 more months, a monthly inactivity fee of $10 would be put on my account, till it would empty.

They would take $10 for me, monthly, for not using their service. That is wild. It was a reminder to get my money at least.

I first tried to get it through PayPal, I continued to be baffled by this site; I was told I'd be matched with a broker who should send me my money. After waiting for ~5 minutes, I was put through into a chat with a random guy from Venezuela? I realized my mail was wrong, so I had to cancel the request. Well, I had to request a cancelation, then the Venezuelan guy spent 10 minutes before he accepted the cancelation.

I then realized I could be paid to my Wise account, cool, that's usually smooth.

I have, as per writing this, waited over 3 hours to be matched with a different random person who will send me my money.
I can not overstate how absolutely bonkers this entire site and process has been from start to finish (if it ever will finish, still waiting). On top of this whole mess, $2 will dissappear in fees.

Istg stay far, far, away from this, beg and plead to get paid through anything else, even PayPal would be far better than this. I'm high key furious, feels like an absolute crypto scam.

Airtm support is useless. I provided full proof of payment, yet they ignored everything and closed my case. This platform is not safe for transactions. Scam really make sure you save your money and please don't expect to trust these guys called themselves support team they are really thieves, the platform doesn't know

Airtm is completely unreliable and 100%. They canceled my transaction even after I sent proof of payment, and support refused to listen. Not a trusted platform at all. So dear users step away find alternative method or else you would face the same issue, this mediation team are thieves they should not be employed, I highly encourage CEO to take action immediately

As someone new to P2P transfers, the site needs to have more disclaimers and warnings. I unknowingly cancelled a transaction after sending funds to a 'cashier' and lost my money. No warnings to say funds may not be retrievable if cancellation proceeds at this stage. All AirTM does is send the 'cashier' an email asking for the money back. They have no insurance on your funds. I was basically told 'sorry, but too bad for you, thanks for trusting AirTM.' Terrible. Never using again

UPDATE: two weeks later I finally received my funds via p2p. Updating the rating from 1 star to 2 stars. The final feeling is the same: you always worry that you will never get your funds from Airtm, and they constantly threat you with massages like this:
- "To withdraw your funds, we will reactivate your account for 24 hours after the reception of this email. After this timeframe, we will proceed with the closure of your account.";
- "You will have a 48-hour period to withdraw your funds to an external account registered under your name.";
- "This 12-hour period will start from the time we deliver this communication and will only enable your account to make withdrawals to non-Airtm accounts identified under your name. Once the time limit has expired, the account will be permanently disabled."

Do feel the attitude? Avoid them and sleep well.

1. Got paid by my employer via Airtm a week ago (November 13).
2. Tried to withdraw same day via the periously added payment option. Got a system message that the accouint is limited.
3. Got an email from them "After reviewing the information associated to your account, we regret to inform you that we cannot continue offering our services to you. Accounting to our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to inform you on the reason behind this decision. To withdraw your funds, we will reactivate your account for 24 hours after the reception of this email.
4. After that the blocked my account and I cannot even log in.
5. Last email I received from them was 6 days ago already.

This behavior is typical of scammers.

AirTM positions itself as a digital wallet and financial platform designed for users in countries with volatile economies, restrictive capital controls, or limited access to traditional banking. Its primary mission is to help people "protect their money from devaluation" by allowing them to hold their savings in stable currencies like US dollars, bypassing local banking systems.

My experience with Airtm has been extremely disappointing.

First, the verification process was a complete nightmare. Both the website and the app kept glitching, and if I’m not mistaken, I had to upload my documents around ten times before the system finally accepted them. I use several similar financial apps, and none of them ever gave me this kind of trouble. Airtm is, by far, the worst in this area.

Second, I sent a test payment of $100 from PayPal — and I’ve been a loyal PayPal customer for almost 18 years without a single issue. It has now been five days, and the money has still not arrived in my Airtm account.

Your support team told me to wait 2–3 weeks for the funds to be processed. Are you serious? Why would I wait three weeks for a simple transfer? What is this — gold-plated money? The situation is absurd.

Airtm needs to drastically improve reliability, processing speed, and customer support. At this point, I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

Do you want to loss your money without any reason at all? this is the place, customer support was not helpfull, they will ignore and won't give you any reason for closing your account. I worked with the platform for years they just send me an email telling me they are going to close my account and that I have 7 days to withdraw the money and when I tried to withdraw the system did not allow me to do it, tried to talk to them sending tickets and they just waited for the 7 days just to ignore me after that.
