Can't believe how quick the order came! lightening speed shipping. I was considering buying from somewhere else but glad I chose After Burn. Order arrived in perfect condition, smooth process, excellent support team and most importantly high quality products that passed all the check check authentications. Will be buying a second pair tomorrow.

I have had a horrible experience with after burn. I purchased shoes in August and they didn’t arrive until October. I had asked if the shoes would arrive by 17th September and was told they would most likely arrive by this date. After receiving a tracking number that continued to say pending for a few weeks I raised a claim with AusPost and they confirmed that there were no delays and that the item hadn’t been shipped and they stated the tracking number was invalid. I then raised a claim with PayPal as I was worried if I would ever receive the shoes. In October the shoes finally arrive and as I didn’t close the PayPal case immediately because it would automatically close and PayPal told me no further action was needed and the funds were being held (I did not receive a refund, I had paid my money and it was just being held via PayPal) I was accused of theft and threatened with legal action and I felt that I was spoken to so rudely. I am in contact with Fair Trading about the threats that were made. I definitely wouldn’t buy from here again and I hope others do their due diligence before shopping here too.

EDIT: I was again threatened with legal action for leaving this review. Shopping with after burn has left me feeling very uncomfortable and I regret shopping here at all.

I have purchased around 50 sneakers (mostly Travis Scott, Off Whites, Unions, Nike SB lobsters etc) from After Burn from May 2022 - Nov 2023. The initial 9 sneaker purchases were all authentic. As I had my trust built with After Burn, I stopped checking them assuming they are all authentic. However, as time passed I started noticing irregularities with the sneakers. Overall, I finally determined After Burn sold me 31 replicas.

For eg.
- Off White Dunks Lot boxes came without the specific number marked on them.
- Nike SB green lobsters came with wrong colour laces.
- Jordan 4 Denim came with the wrong box colour and typos in label.
- Kobe 6 reverse grinch came with extra laces.
- Jordan 1 Trophy Room F & F came with wrong colour code on the box and blue laces in a plastic bag (instead of tied with the rubber band).
- Jordan 4 Union Off Noir came with box lid in which the Jordan Hand Print is in opposite direction
- Several Kobe's received with box so small that lids wont close
And I can go on and on

When I approached James with these irregularities , he told me in return email that his authentication team is not very experienced in authenticating rare sneakers and a new staff member they have hired during Christmas period made several mistakes. So James did refund me for the few sneakers.

For the balance he started making excuses, blaming on defects. So I took balance of sneakers to local resale store and they were all deemed fake. Then I put these sneakers through CheckCheck/Legit check, all failed. Then, I took the lowest bid and sold Travis Scott Air Force 1 on Stockx and Off White Air Max 90 Black on GOAT. Both failed verification. Therefore I opened 2 x Paypal cases. Upon opening the cases, James honoured those cases and refunded me. For the balance, it was agreed upon that when James will return to Aus in May 2024, we will meet and get the balance of sneakers independently checked. Come June 2024, James says he is unable to meet, offers his apologies and disappears leaving me with replicas which he sold me under the pretence of authentic, loss of $15,000. I was such an idiot by trusting James and let the Paypal dispute window close (lesson learnt)

I have reported this business to ScamWatch and I am in talks with QLD Fair Trading on how to recoup my lost funds. All the information mentioned in my review, I have an email record of it.

Buy sneakers at your own risk from After Burn and if you do, make sure you get them independently verified.

Great prices and choice got my first order over the line and speed and service will be getting me to order more….

Bought a pair of Yeezy 500 from Afterburner. I have communicated with James via email who has made the transaction pleasant. It does take some time for sourcing the sneaker and shipping. I did order over the holiday break hence the delayed shipping.
Overall the Yeezy 500 are authentic. Great prices on Afterburn too.

I ordered a ‘SUPREME MILITARY CAMP CAP (FW19) BLACK’ from After-Burn. This hat is supposed to be Made in USA and when I received the cap, I noticed that it had one side of the tag reading 'Made in USA' whereas the other side of the tag reading '100% Cotton Made in China', which didn’t seem right as I have other Supreme hat in my possession, which only has ‘Made in USA’ tag and doesn’t have any reference to ‘Made in China’ on the other side.

I posted the pictures of the hat on an online Supreme forum to seek additional feedback from other Supreme owners. The feedback received was that the attributes of this hat, especially the tags (the logo of the Made in USA and the text 100% Cotton Made in China) didn’t match with caps that other people have.

You would expect a business to pick up such basic things as part of their authentication process yet After Burn failed to do so. I reached out to James regarding the issues with the cap and also shared the feedback from the forum but he insisted that the cap was legit, which is when I lost trust in the store and requested the cap to be returned.

James did accept the return however insisted that I pay for the return postage, which I did. The whole experience was a wastage of time and money.

I trusted the store and I regret that and I wouldn’t be ordering anything else from this store so please do your homework before and after the purchase.

PS: After I posted the negative review I was threatened with a legal action by the store.

Knowing that I have purchased authentic yeezy's was a win for me. Everything was smooth, and you also get an authenticity certificate emailed to you. I would however recommend one thing if possible, updating the customers and letting them know when you are expecting the shoes to arrive for an authenticity check.

This is not a negative with After burn, rather it is more of a suggestion that I am making. Everything for me with After burn was great! But to make it even better, updating customers on when the shoes were expected to arrive gives customers (especially first-buying customers) the reassurance.

I will definitely be purchasing from After burn in the future, and will highly recommend to family and friends!!

I bought Yeezys and was a little sceptical at first, however, James was very helpful throughout the whole process but the shoes arrived and were perfect. I Will definitely be buying more shoes from After-burn in future and recommending to my mates.

I am giving a well deserved 5 stars after such a wonderful shopping experience. I ordered some shoes for my daughters birthday. I have to say I was very impressed with the whole process. The customer service was a breeze. Items arrived in a timely manner to Adelaide. Box was in perfect condition and shoes came with original tags and I could see they are brand new. My daughter was very happy after opening her present, she was after this specific pair for such a long time and is a very big fan of Air Jordan's. I will be ordering again tonight to buy myself a matching pair as they looked so much better in person than on the website🙂.

I purchased 2 pairs of Yeezys and 1 pair of Jordans. AUTHENTIC, FAST and AMAZING experience here. I made sure to double check with authentication app all items came back as pass.

I stupidly ordered the incorrect size which was my own fault as I did not pay attention to the recommendations on sizing. I contact after-burn to swap my Yeezys to one size larger. The process was very simple and fast with no dramas.

James you are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for organising and sorting out the exchange as I know most other companies do not compromise. I would highly recommend customer support is top.

I was nervous as I am very OCD when it comes to shoes especially with some of the resale prices. I came across After Burn and received my order within the 2 week timescale stated.

They arrived exactly as advertised brand new and authentic, they look great!. Very pleased and will absolutely use again.

I AM IN LOVE. I bought the Travis Scott Cactus Jack AF1’s and they are bomb! My partner has Jordan’s coming from After Burn and we’re so psyched to get them also (I almost don’t want to tell anyone where I’ve bought my shoes from lol) BUTTT I will as I highly recommend! Super professional, James was super quick with replying to my queries. Definitely looking forward to doing business here again! Would definitely be my first option when looking for shoes in future!
