Alex did a smashing job replacing our boiler. It was very neatly done with no issues or fuss. Very polite, flexible and pleasant to engage with. Shall keep in mind for other works in the future.

He even made a special effort to ensure we still had room beneath the new, bigger boiler to fit our food blender. My wife was very relieved. 🙂.

Alex was a customer when I was a postie in his village so was the first person I thought of when water started coming through my dining room ceiling. I quickly realised the hot water tank was leaking. It was a Sunday and I emailed him, getting a reply almost immediately. He arranged to come to look a couple of days later.
He kept me informed about progress with the new tank & as soon as it arrived, he arranged to fit it.
Texted an eta, a was extremely clean & tidy worker and had completed the job within 2 hours.
100% recommend.

We have always used him for servicing our Boiler and then we got him to install a new one for us which was more efficient to run. When we moved into our house 7 years ago, Alex checked the boiler over and gave honest advice that we didn't need a new boiler immediately and serviced/maintained the boiler for several years. Our old boiler gave up the ghost on the first day of lockdown 2! The boiler was 20 years old And we knew it was on it's way out.

Despite the fact we were not customers, Alex came to the house after our Google search, gave us a few options and a few days later, fitted a new, fuel saving boiler that is just brilliant. And quiet!

Despite the fact that it needed a new flue and house bricks removed to accommodate it, he managed to match our existing bricks for their replacement. We were delighted with his clearing up and the resulting finish, inside and outside the house.

Alex continues to provide an excellent, professional and effortless service. I have been using him for many years and will continue to do so. Years ago he stopped and removed an old gas fire and installed a full heating system and boiler. It is such a relief that even during these unprecedented time his level of professionalism hasn’t been affected.

I have used Alex for a few things now including fixing a radiator, boiler service and installing my new gas hob. He has been great every time. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and I am more than happy to keep using and recommending him!

After coming out at least three times on emergency calls about our old IMI Powermax boiler (promptly, politely and successfully), we scheduled a week to replace it with a new Ideal Combi boiler. Alex completed the job in just two days despite it being in a third floor flat with no lift and his own van being out of service. Fantastic service as always. Thank you Alex.

Glad we went for the Afgas quote. Alex did a very good job and nothing was to much trouble, all,redundant equipment and rubbish removed from site. No hesitation in recommending.

Finding good tradesmen when one is new to an area, is always difficult. I happened across Alex when my hot water went on the blink in mid-Feb. He came out as soon as he could and fixed the problem quickly. My heating control died a month later. And once again, despite it being the first day of lockdown, he was quick to help. He's since fitted a replacement.
Despite being busy, he is keen to help and will turn up when he says. And his costs are very reasonable.
I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone experiencing boiler issues.

Alex recently installed a new boiler for us. Communication via email was good, providing the initial quote which was very competitive then date/time for doing the work. He is very professional yet friendly and carried out the work efficiently leaving the area clean and tidy. He also observed the current COVID19 guidelines. Would definitely recommend.
