My experience at Aeolus Flight Academy…
My experience at Aeolus Flight Academy has been frustrating and disappointing due to ongoing issues with management and communication.
While Angie, the receptionist, is consistently polite and does her best to assist, the positives unfortunately end there. Jake's management has been disorganized, unresponsive, and at times, disrespectful toward students—despite the significant financial investment we are making in our training.
Supervisory flights are frequently canceled at the last minute with little to no notice, often without any follow-up or rescheduling support. Many students, including myself, have waited weeks or even months to get back on the schedule. Yet the responsibility is routinely shifted onto students, even when we comply with the academy's own 24-hour cancellation policy.
Communication from the school is severely lacking. I’ve reached out multiple times regarding my T2202 tax form and have received no response. I've also spoken with fellow students and even some staff who share similar concerns.
There is also a high turnover of instructors, which raises serious questions about the work environment and leadership stability.
Unless significant improvements are made at the management level, I cannot in good faith recommend Aeolus to anyone looking for reliable and professional flight training.
