I always had a response to my questions, and that made the long time it took to resolve the issue bearable. I felt that initially far too much credence was given to the other party's statements, overl... See more

Major delays in dealing with claim
Major delays in dealing with claim - crash happened 4 years ago and only just accepted offer. Horrendous admin issues. Mistakes on medical report which was hidden from me. The only good person is Alex my most recent case handler. He has been fab. So much stress caused from this.

Not replying to messages or emails
Not replying to messages or emails, absolutely not good enough, case sat with an agent with the initials MK, being messaging and now emailing for months and no reply, not happy at all.
Even sent an email of complaint and guess not no reply to that !
If anyone at Admiral knows MK please give her a nudge.

Worst company ever
Worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Took over two years to get things sorted. Despite having contents insurance on my van insurance I couldn’t claim, because after two years they wanted more photos of the damaged items. These had been discarded when they’d told me shortly after the crash that the previous photos were acceptable for the claim.
One representative I spoke with was so rude and aggressive I had to request he would never contact me again. Most of the staff here though are kind and polite. Just don’t reply on the portal or look at your messages unless you phone up multiple times.
Also had to settle for a significantly lower amount, or have to wait another 2-3 YEARS for it to go through more processes.
Admiral Law dragged their heels for so long and even when I did get the case closed eventually, I had to fight hard to keep my business afloat.
This is one company that if you’re unfortunate that your insurance company uses, just give up. Don’t bother to claim, as the claim process will be more painful than any accident.
Claim started in the 25th of June 2024. Endless amounts of calls and messages and even escalated multiple complaints to the ombudsman before anything got done. And the case was closed on the 12 of August 2026.
Best of luck anyone using this company.

I genuinely cannot put into words how…
I genuinely cannot put into words how horrific my experience with Admiral Law has been.
My personal injury claim started after an accident in October 2022. I instructed Admiral Law believing that I would have professional support, that my injuries would be properly investigated and that someone would actually help me through what was already a very difficult time.
Instead, I spent years chasing them, asking for help, trying to get medical referrals progressed, trying to get answers and repeatedly explaining how much I was struggling.
From very early on I was telling Admiral Law that I was in significant physical pain and that the accident had badly affected me psychologically. I told them about nightmares, PTSD symptoms and how badly I was struggling mentally. I asked for therapy and medical help and repeatedly chased referrals that had been recommended.
In May 2023, one of Admiral Law's own case handlers told me that I needed a psychological referral and warned me that if it was not arranged I could be "under settling" my claim because there would be injuries they were unable to value.
Despite that, I then spent months chasing them to actually get the referrals and assessments progressed.
I was constantly asking what was happening. I told them I had already been waiting months. I asked them to outsource assessments because of the delays. I chased appointments, reports and treatment. There were times when I was left feeling like I had to manage the medical side of my own personal injury claim myself.
This wasn't happening while I was fit and well and simply impatient for an update. I was injured. I was in pain. I was struggling psychologically. I was repeatedly telling the solicitors acting for me that I needed help.
That is what makes the experience so difficult for me to accept.
The record keeping also became a huge concern. Admiral Law later acknowledged that some communications had not been properly recorded and that there were telephone attendance notes on my file that were completely blank.
A telephone attendance note is supposed to record what was discussed between a solicitor and their client.
When you've had important conversations over the telephone about your injuries, treatment and what you should or shouldn't be doing, finding out afterwards that some of those records are simply blank is incredibly concerning.
Years later, when my claim was approaching settlement, Admiral Law's own records were still raising concerns about the fact that recommended treatment had not taken place and whether I could be undersettling.
That is something I now have to live with.
I will probably never know with certainty what position I would have been in if my medical treatment, referrals and evidence had been dealt with properly and promptly from the beginning. That uncertainty is a huge part of why this experience has affected me so badly.
Admiral Law did eventually acknowledge a number of service failures, including communication failures, delays and failures to properly record some communications.
Their answer was to offer me £200.
After everything I had experienced, I found that insulting.
What has affected me most isn't simply the money or how long the claim took. It is knowing how many times I told them I was struggling, how many times I asked for help and how completely powerless I felt while the people who were supposed to be representing my interests seemed to do so little about it.
This whole process has had a genuine impact on my mental health. I already had the trauma and physical consequences of the original accident to deal with (completely non fault as admitted by other driver I will add), and instead of the legal process helping me through that, it became another source of stress, anxiety and distress.
I feel mentally exhausted by the entire experience.
I have retained years' worth of portal messages, emails, medical correspondence and complaint documentation. This isn't a review written because I didn't get an email answered quickly enough. It is based on a prolonged experience which completely destroyed my confidence in the firm.
The matter now sits with the Legal Ombudsman.
I would never use Admiral Law again.
If you are considering instructing them for a personal injury claim, particularly where you have ongoing injuries or need medical treatment, I would strongly suggest keeping your own detailed records of absolutely everything, chasing every referral yourself and checking exactly what has and hasn't been recorded on your file. Or my best advise would be to avoid them completely. They have completely broken me.
Nobody should come out of a legal claim feeling more damaged by the process than when they went into it.
Unfortunately, that is how I feel after my experience with Admiral Law.
