Acuitis Exeter were amazing for us! We purchased glasses in York but York and Lincoln branches closed down shortly afterwards. I had a fault with my frames, rang Exeter and sent them for repair. They were SO helpful and efficient. Frames returned within 2 days in perfect condition!

I went to the Lincoln branch today to find it closed to any future business. I can't believe they have just closed the shop and left one poor member of staff to defend the companies position !!!
I'm sure many customers have a contactable email.
How many more people are going to make journeys to find out the shop is closed permanently?
Not a good way to run a business.

I recieved incredible service at the York branch, Robin was so brilliant and helpful - and managed to choose me the exact perfect pair of frames, first try and I loved them. Really happy, such a welcoming and lovely store with great colleagues - very happy customer :)

Just went into the York branch for a browse. Liked simplicity of the glasses frames and the sale price. Ended up having an eye test - John was great, professional but with some wit, as a bonus. The assistants were excellent, patient and helpful assisting me to select frames. Was an enjoyable experience so I would highly recommend.

I had left it very late before going on holiday to go into the shop and order some prescription sun glasses. Charlotte was so helpful and managed to push the glasses through super quick…even arriving before my holiday dead line in less than a week.
Charlottes advise and help was second to none.
My husband went back later that day and ordered 2 pairs of glasses which even arrived before mine!
Amazing so helpful don’t go anywhere else

friendly enough staff in York and nice people
but i was trying to tell the french fellow that the new glasses were out of focus and he did not seem to be listening so i left the shop with the glasses .
I reported the fact on the acuitis website twice in one month and have recieved no reply (cant get into shop at moment due to illness and still stuck with 2 pairs of barely usable glasses only 4 stars because of this

Just wandered in off the street in York to find a place of different styles of glasses not usually seen... especially those frames almost "designed by committee" that you get in other shops. Decided to get an eye exam off the cuff, and got one. Optician listened to my problems, and after a very thorough exam, easily diagnosed the issue and came up with a solution. After choosing a frame, Robyn, the assistant was very thorough making sure they fitted correctly and that everything was ok. I have never had an experience in an opticians like it. A Rolls-Royce service. Can't wait to get my frames!!

There was a lot of choice amongst all kind of styles, forms and colours and I enjoyed the whole process and felt that I had all the attention and support required for choosing my glasses! Highly recommend!

On holiday in York and had an issue with the nose pieces on my glasses. Lost screw and piece, they were wonderful and helped with a temporary repair until I could see my own optician. So friendly, would recommend 👍

I thought my hearing was deteriorating because of my age. The initial ear examination showed that both ears had impacted wax. I put oil in for 5 days, then Emily removed it all without any discomfort. She was professional and charming. Now I can hear. I highly recommend the Exeter shop.

I purchased glasses from the Exeter store. The best customer service I have revieved at an optitions. Just want to pass my thanks onto the Exeter team for being so helpful and lovely.

I was staying in Lincoln ovenight and had an accident with my glasses.
Popped in to see if the could help. Charlotte adjusted my glasses for me. She was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Saved my Christmas...thanks Charlotte!

Acuitis Lincoln...Absolutely first class service. Firstly the eye test was the most in-depth test I have ever had. They really take their time to explain the results & found the service was very 'genuine'. After having headaches for almost a year when working on my PC, I have been to all the big players in this industry, they all failed. I now have some new glasses with Zeiss lenses & after about two weeks now, no headaches. All the team were superb but I must say Charlotte really did go above & beyond, she's a star. The glasses are superb, normally we struggling to find a design that's just right but here we were spoilt for choice. I love my new glasses, I loved the service and I love the quality. Price was comparable to the high street big chains but with better quality in my opinion.

I have nothing but good things to say! After a thorough and patient examination, Priyesh, the optician, explained why my current glasses weren’t working for me. We went outside to check the new prescription to make sure of extra long distance.
Afterwards I was offered a coffee and Albert helped me pick out some new frames. The different lens options and prices were explained clearly, fully and without bias. Lovely guy, very likeable and friendly.
Even if I bought frames elsewhere, I will always get my eyes tested here from now on. It’s worth the extra money to get it done right.

Just had my eyes tested at Acuitis, Lincoln.
having worn glasses for many years, I have to say , this was the most in-depth test I have ever had.
Everything was explained in detail. i now understand more about my eyes and how to protect them.
The entire staff are very helpful.
if you want a professional team to look after your eyes, i cant recommend Acuitis Lincoln enough.

Visited Acuitis Lincoln for the first time in Feb 2023 what an amazing place with fantastic people. They went above and beyond to make sure I understood the changes in my eyesight they spent as much time as I needed to choose the frames helped me with every step going through all the options available etc I would thoroughly recommend this optician 100% brilliant all round could not fault them

I’ve long been a SpecSaver customer & felt like cattle being pushed through.
However my partner Shaun from London as a much higher taste level in spectacles. He came across our Exeter Acuitis branch after noticing how stylish & exceptional it looked after using London opticians . He came away with amazing glasses & was extremely impressed. I decided to go too , but was expecting it out of my price range as I’m hard on glasses. It turned out to be an exceptional customer experience, beautiful tortoiseshell frames , Terry was so attentive & advising me to explore different styles, I’m
Normally left to find a pair & have no confidence. He was amazing & we found great frames of which I brought 2 . Sophie was so elegant & professional, it’s definitely high end service but it’s actually comparable to high street shops like SpecSaver, to be fair & the product & service. I felt Sophie really invested her time looking at my eyes & health & they have new top of the range equipment, far superior to past experiences.
Do t hesitate to pop in & look around & meet the team you’d be very surprised how much better it is than our every day opticians who to be honest push you through with little personal input..
I even made a mistake with my post prescription information about usage as I started a new job & hadn’t explained or was aware the lenses I have aren’t correct for my new job. They changed the lenses Free & didn’t mind chatting & testing to make sure we got the correct distance lens for my new job.. Amazing, luck for Exeter.. thank you all .. Andy & Shaun x
