I've been doing the Electrical Engineering course with Rob and Brian, and they have been MASSIVELY helpful and are incredibly knowledgeable in their profession, they both have different ways of teaching which compliment each other and are great at explaining things to help to understand them better.

The lessons are great as they're not boring and monochrome and they keep it lively which definitely helps with learning and breaking up the monotony, great professors and definitely recommend it

The education model works really well for working professionals looking to move into the trades. The lecturing staff are incredibly knowledgeable and the course material is both indepth and substantial; Rob and Brian did a fantastic job guiding us through the curriculum. Highly recommended.

Decent training academy with many centre around UK.
I choose them because the Manchester site quite close to me.
Whoever I meet from this academy face to face or the online tutor they have a massive experience and all of them very helpful.
Only thing what no-one answered how long will be open my online account for learning because I do the the premium where must to learn a lot.Very lot...
And 2-3years maybe not enough next to family and full time job.
So yes I am happy to choose them!

Steve is my tutor on my gas course, he goes above and beyond in his teaching methods, he injects the right amount of humour into the modules so it doesnt become boring and tries to get everyone to take part in the webinars.
I would definitely recommend access training and especially Steve to people embarking on a new career whether they are school/college leavers or like myself a late 40s man wanting a change of direction

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trainer than Dr Charles Usigbe.

He is an amazing trainer, extremely knowledgeable, professional and, without a doubt, a perfectionist. His attention to detail is unbelievable — he would pick up on even the smallest things that most people would probably overlook.

Nothing was simply “good enough” for him. He always pushed me to correct things, improve my work and understand exactly what I was doing and why. Sometimes I wondered how he even noticed some of the little details, but now that I have completed my NVQ Level 3, I really appreciate it because it made me better and helped me achieve a much higher standard.

You can tell that Dr Usigbe takes real pride in his work and genuinely cares about the standard of the people he trains. He doesn’t just want you to pass — he wants you to deserve the qualification and become a better electrician because of it.

I have huge respect for him and I’m genuinely grateful that he was my assessor.

An exceptional trainer, a true perfectionist and an absolute credit to his profession.

Steve is a great teacher, engages the class, encourages questions, adds interesting anecdotes and makes sure everyone understands. Overall a great teacher and is a great help form access training.

Terrible course for beginners wanting to complete an Earn as you Learn qualification. I wish I had read the reviews before hand. Took months to get all materials sent through. I asked for a transcript of the initial conversation months ago and I am still waiting after 7 months. You will have to pay for the whole course if you start and realise it is not appropriate for you. You have a so called 2 weeks cooling off period but how you are supposed to know the course will be right for you within this timeframe is a mystery as you have to complete a Health and Safety course first. They suggest people will be in contact to see how you are getting along and to support you with progress towards completing qualifications but this does not happen.
Avoid this company if you want someone who will encourage you as someone new to electrics and looking to earn whilst you learn because they over promise and severely underdeliver.

Just ending the 2 weeks Live Gas Training at the Manchester Access Training Facility.Incredible 2 weeks led by 2 of the most Knowledgable Lecturers and Gas Engineers I’ve been around in Simon and Ian,and Allround 2 Great people who delivered the course with a Great mix of Trade knowledge,Fact and Practical lessons and Demonstrations.Enjoyed every day so far on every Contact on the Gas Engineer Journey every time in Manchester,Highly recommended,Knowledge gained at every point.

Cherise , is very nice and helpful with all queries answered and sorted out in a timely manner . And if you have a problem or need to talk about anything will contact you straight away either by calling or email. Took my cv and presented it in a really high standard format for employers. Can’t fault any of the process and highly recommend her to help you with your cv / job search .

The entire experience has been pain free and all the staff are incredibly helpful and they know their stuff! Started with independent revision with the addition of very knowledgeable webinars. The revision and exam process was completely at my pace so there wasn’t any pressure to complete to a deadline-I fitted it around work and 3 kids.
Into the workshop where the instructor was very kind and patient and extremely knowledgeable, all tips and tricks given! Good laugh and sense of community in the workshop with the other trades, just a great place to learn. I am now taking my next steps knowing that I can call for guidance and help whenever I want. 100% would recommend

Just finished my electrical practical training and assessment at Southampton. I have to say a big thanks to Mark for explaining things thoroughly and clearly which was important for someone like me who is new to the industry. He was very patient answering questions and he genuinely wants you to do well as long as you are making the effort to learn. We did so much testing and preparation over the 2 weeks of training that the assessment itself was fairly straightforward.

I did my NVQ Electrical Practical at Access Training in Edenbridge, and honestly did gained a huge practical knowledge from the training, tutored by Dr Charles Usigbe, a champ that is excellently knowledgeable and put you through what you need to learn by all standards.
