Great facilities, some staff needs better training
An employee at this company recommended me an unverified source for a man and van business to help me move in, despite my clear request for the contact of a trusted business. The man with a van turned out to be a criminal who attacked me and he was arrested. Access Self Storage staff and facilities are great, including excellent CCTV security coverage, but that experience with the man and van scarred me, physically and emotionally. I am grateful for their support after the incident, but they can definitely improve on whom they choose to recommend to their customers!!

Friendly service
Lee and Amy were so helpful when I booked a storage unit with Access, their knowledge of what unit size i would require was great. Very nice and friendly which helps aswell.

Great onsite staff
The onsite staff member was really friendly and helpful. He was also able to resolve the problem caused by the AI email system giving the wrong information about the storage units.

Seems to be a charge for everything including accessing the unit you are paying for after hours.

Extended access options are available and, in some cases, may involve an additional fee due to the increased operational and security requirements. Access Self Storage Stevenage
The staff at Access Stevenage are absolutely lovely. Unfortunately the company has decided that this location should close at 6pm on week days, 5pm on Saturdays and 4 pm in Saturdays. 6pm is too early during the week. When we rented a unit previously first in 2018-2020 and then 2022 to 2023 there was late opening. We did a move from Norwich on 19th March. The removal company packed up the Luton van by 2.45pm and we all arrived at Access Stevenage at 5.10pm. There was no way everything could be unpacked by 6pm. I did not have the required ID on me to arrange late access but the very kind (female) staff member stayed on late and we finished by 6.20pm. Whilst we were unpacking two other Luton vans arrived between 5.15pm and 6 pm and everyone was unhappy about the closing times. I wouLd suggest Access at least open until 7pm as it seems lots of people do try to get there after 5pm. It also made the move very stressful as the Norwich company would have been completely stuck had the Access staff member not kindly stayed open a bit longer for us. So 10/10 for the staff, but 5/10 for the company's opening hours

We moved storage to Access Self Storage in Mancherster and I dealt with a fantastic guy by the name of Luke - who made the entire relocation run so smoothly. He assisted in every step of the way including forklift assistance on arrival. Nothing was a problem and Luke did what ever it took to ensure the day went to plan. Thank you
