We commissioned Absolute Lofts to build a loft for us between October and December 2025. It was slightly more complicated than the average loft conversion as we had purchased the house with a small loft conversion that had been built approx 25 years ago and didn’t conform to building control.

The scope for the new loft conversion was to completely rip out the existing loft and replace it with 3 new rooms (2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

We had a fantastic experience throughout the process. Ian was helpful in the early stages answering our questions. Darren, Geoff and the site team were brilliant and easy to communicate with and nice to have in our home. We lived there throughout the process, there was a lot of dust but it was manageable and the guys were good at cleaning up at the end of each day.

Our budget was quite tight and we were grateful that extras were kept to a minimum and that we were always kept informed. And Tony in the office was great at keeping our payment tracker updated so we always knew where we stood at the end of each week.

Oh, and of all the 3 quotes we recieved for a loft conversion, Absolute were the cheapest.

Really good service, we're very happy with the conversion done. It took a fair bit longer than planned, but it's been done very well and their services were great (from initial planning to build to the certificates and wrapping up at the end).

Absolute Lofts made the loft conversion process easy and bespoke.
Gus was absolutely amazing at keeping us informed throughout the process and the team were great at making tweaks as the building progressed. Additionally they were brilliant at working with us to ensure the project was both up to the spec we wanted and that it could remain as within budget as possible.

Recently, we had an issue with a window opener, and despite being well out of the guarantee period, they stepped up without hesitation. After calling the company and speaking to a friendly voice, we were reassured by their professionalism and care. They returned promptly and replaced the window opener completely free of charge. Great business, trustworthy and reliable. From the beginning of the project I felt like I was in control and my questions were dealt with not long after. First class loft conversion! 2nd time I have used Absolute Lofts and their work was yet again outstanding! The team in the office, Ian and Tony, made the process straightforward and took care of all planning matters and the builders, led by Gus, with Jim and Vic, completed the build efficiently with no fuss and were a joy to work with. They know exactly what they are doing and had a solution for any issues that arose. They are based locally with no delays to the works. All their tradesmen, including Ricky the roofer, Keith the tiler, Chris the plumber and Mitch the electrician were all top notch. Had a good experience with Absolute Loft's Charlie and Tony! Did a large loft conversion - the guys were always mindful about working in someone's house, cleaned after themselves, and kept me up to date with everything. Never complained about my temporary indecisiveness or changing mind on certain things. Has been as good experience as a house contruction can be, human and fair. Fixed price provided some peace of mind along with flexibility to add things on.
Absolutely recommend using them for a loft conversion, just dont recommend using their electrician though, get your own!

Absolute and our build team of Chris did a fantastic job, the team were tidy and considerate throughout the work and Chris was always available if needed to discuss things as required.

I've had my loft for 17 years now, and it's been an excellent. I even remember the snowy day in February when the job started.

I recently (07/01/2025) had to contact Absolute for some original drawings, since I want to put some solar on my dormer, and needed to have the structural load calculated.

I spoke to Ian, who was the same gentleman I dealt with, what seems a lifetime a go. What price is that continuity worth?

We have been really very happy with Absolute Lofts. The company provided a reasonable quote, detailed information on the process and was very responsive to queries.

The builder Stoyan, who did the actual loft conversion, was excellent. He was a very detail oriented builder who communicated well with us and created a loft that met our specifications. Stoyan was very honest and upfront about any extra expenses, which helped us keep track of our expenditure and he always made sure to leave the site clean every day. We are very happy with the outcome.

We would definitely recommend Absolute Lofts and Stoyan.
