Left a review a few months ago as I was so impressed by the company however Ive since placed another order which was over £400. I tried to return this through the portal system however was told the parcel was too big and I need to arrange delivery myself. I explained how this order was a lot of money and I would have to pay for this tracked and signed as I was worried this could get lost in the post and I would receive no refund I was ignored as just given the address for the returns. I also explained how my parcel contained the incorrect packing list and I was unsure how they would know that this is my order and to process the refund back to me and was completely ignored with my concerns. I don’t send parcels so to figure this out especially with such a large parcel. It would have been great if the customer service advised which service to use as some guidance. Really disappointed and won’t be ordering from absolute snow anymore.

Started off well, with a good website and fast delivery. Ended poorly when a pair of boots failed after sixteen days. Emailed with a picture of the failed boot rand. No answer at all and no answer to my chase up email either. Won't use again.

Outstanding customer service, the team at Absolute went above and beyond, in particular Ben. Ben recommended 3 skis based on my ski style and ability, some great advice and then went truly above and beyond to ensure I had these skis prior to departure. Couldn’t recommend them enough, great products, knowledgeable staff and legendary customer service, rare these days.

I placed an order on Sunday with an estimated delivery time of 2-3 working days. A bit last minute as my trip is this weekend. I weirdly didn’t get an email confirmation but on my account the order was there. However it got to Tuesday and I hadn’t had any update and it just said ‘payment received’ on the order update. I contacted absolute snow via their chatbot and email. I got a reply from a real human being the same day saying they contacted the warehouse and expedited the shipping to express/24hrs. I got email updates on my order and it turned up today as said! Very happy with the items and their customer service for their communication and speeding things up. My only concern would be what the delivery time would’ve been like had I not gotten in contact.

Superb service. Ordered Scarpa boots on the Sunday and paid for next business day delivery. Dispatched on the Monday and arrived on the Tuesday. Tracking number provided. Excellent communication throughout. Boots were at a great price. Highly recommended.

Make sure you add 10 days to any order you place.
I’ve used Absolute Snow for several orders now without any issues but I guess it’s when things go wrong you truly see how good a company is at customer service.
After ordering a package where the website stated 2-3 days for delivery, 5-days later, still no order and Absolute Snow still can’t tell me where my package is and when it’ll be delivered (“sorry Parcelforce must not have scanned the package… we’ve noticed this quite a lot lately”), or provide any help (“you’ll just have to wait 10 days and then we can file a missing report with Parcelforce. That’s all we can do”). Can you send via a different courier if I order a new order now and hope the other comes (“no we only send via Parcelforce”).
Customer service were not helpful and offered no support.

When ordering in excess of £1000 worth of equipment (snowboard, bindings, boots) the orders were split in 2. I received the board but the bindings and boots never arrived which makes the board useless. Now I have rent gear on my holiday, to arrange to get the board couriered back at my cost and attempt to get a refund for the lost equipment. Awful experience I am not looking forward to attempting to resolve.

Ordered a black Patagonia 6L cube and been sent the wrong one. I am now expected to pay £4 to return it even though it was their mistake. Was skeptical about ordering as a lot cheaper than direct from company. Makes me wonder if they had the colour I ordered at all or just a ploy to get people to buy old stock.
EDIT
I have emailed and had no reply.

Excellent customer service - they went above and beyond to get something posted out before we left for our trip. Many thanks.

Part of order not in stock so whole order from 9th December put on hold awaiting a response from me - After not receiving the package I found email in junk folder and called them and confirmed that yes I still wanted the boots even though the hat not in stock. It is now the 11th of December.
Unclear why any company would withhold an entire order on the basis of one item being out of stock nor why it is difficult for a website to reflect that an item is is or is not in stock.
I got them to send the boots by 24 hr delivery when I spoke with them So item arrived 12th of December but it is also beyond me why any company would not note next to a footwear item that it is narrow or ‘choose a size up’.
At any rate the Timberland Moriah boots I have wanted for over 3 months and that were now reduced to a ‘mere’ £92.95 were so narrow that I couldn’t get my foot past the ankle area into the footbed. I am usually a 7-7.5
I called both Absolute Snow and Timberlake but neither were able to tell me if the largest size they do , an 8, was any wider. This is because their warehouse is not connected to the store.
I did find one online shop where there had the boots and the lively woman and I exchanged emails so she could see exactly which measurement of the boots I needed and she sent a photo back to me of the size 8 with a measuring tape and they were exactly the same narrow width at the bend to the footwell.
At my expense I returned the boots the next day (14th December) and they arrived to be processed at their warehouse on the 17th of December.
I received an email saying it was taking 7 days to process returns and from then it could be 5 working days to appear back in my bank but on the 18th I had another email saying the boots were processed and a refund was in its way which could take up to 5 working days- so hopefully by the 24th of December…… no such luck
Nothing on the 24th
Nothing on the 27th
Nothing on the 28th
Nothing on the 29th
Nothing on the 30th
Nothing on the 31st
It is now ten working days and so I called them and was told the refund had not even been processed.
An apology was made and now another email saying the refund is processed and another ‘up to 5 working days’ to see my money.
I will update this if and when the money appears in my bank- should by the 7th of January - a full 4 weeks after my initial order.

These guys are just brill. They have given me advice recently on my new snowboard setup and it has been perfect. Took the time to understand my level and rate of progression and I now have a great board and bindings combo (Nitro Prime Chroma Cam with Burton Step-on bindings). Thank you Absolute Snow.

I'm a childminder and a 2 year old child managed to rip and take a £100 gift voucher off of the order form/letter once delivered to me.
I couldn't find it anywhere. This amazing company sent me a new voucher out with a 48 hour delivery postage. I'm so in love now. Absolute-snow? Absolute-angels!!

I really feel like I had VIP treatment when shopping with Absolute Snow. They bent over backwards to accommodate me, and they kept me informed at each step of the way. In particular, Ben's customer service skills were excellent. He really went above and beyond. His candor was exactly what was required to ensure my purchase met my needs, and he worked so hard to ensure everything was perfect. The honesty in particular was the highlight for me. Ben wasn't after a quick sale, he genuinely wanted what was best for me. Thank you again!

I have ordered two items from these guys and the service was prompt and excellence!! I had to return back one of the items as it wasn’t my size and I have got my refund within days. They are trustful and highly recommended website. 100% recommended.
Edit: first review I ever made for trustpilot is for you guys!
Just one quick question if possible to answer please. I saw there’s like a Head office in Wanstor, is this a physical store? I am interested to buy a snowboard bag and I would like to pick it up tomorrow if possible.
Thank you!

Realised I'd ordered the incorrect sized goods with one of them being non returnable, reached out to cancel the order and received response soon after to confirm all actioned, no quibbles or delay. Will definitely use in the future

UK based with decent customer service. With so many dodgy offshore/online sellers, buying online can be frustrating and time consuming. Not these guys.
Recommend.

I ordered on Friday from Absolute - Snow a pair of Bambola Olang Snow Boots which arrived at 10am today Monday . I am blown away by the quality of the Sheepskin Boots so high quality in comparison ( to a well known competitor ). Absolute - Snow updated me by e mail how my order was progressing . I have no problem in recommending Absolute - Snow.

I think this may have been the last time I have used Absolute Snow. The attraction was always that they were local, had a warehouse and offered fantastic deals. Now don't get me wrong, they still offer the fantastic deals but you now are no longer able to collect items or return them to site. And they don't offer free returns. So, if like me, you loved them because it was a local company that made it easier for locals, this is no longer the case. I ordered something a few days ago, need to return it and, even though it is a small parcel now need to pay £3.50 to return which is news to me. Yes, I know I probably should have read the small print. I guess they have become so successful they don't need the shop anymore or worry about local clients and the customer experience
