Our experience
Our experience: Unwanted intrusion, unwanted cost, unlikely payback, ugly installation and invasion of privacy. Simple exploitation by freeholders of leaseholders against both their will and interest.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Abode Media are great for their investors, but serve no value for their so called customers. Unless their customers are property management, who must get kickbacks for their extortionate pricing.
Abode Media recently won a contract with our building management, where we residents pay to have ads forced upon us. It's almost genius! But seeing my service charges go up to pay £12k for a new TV screen put up to do nothing but display ads seems absolutely ridiculous. Display screens dont cost that much, and why do I and my fellow residents pay for this screen for the sole purpose of showing me ads?
The only thing I can imagine is that they are paying comission (bribes) to whoever at the management company to force this on us. Our RA have voted agaisnt this move, and yet this is somehow being forced upon us still.
Other RAs beware. Abode Media are not working in the interest of your members. They are enriching themselves and your management company at your expense.
They ask the question here, what went wrong, easy, everything, sod the residents, let the freeholder grab all the profits.
Their claims of connecting brands with audiences in a meaningful way and helping property partners build engaged, vibrant communities. However, their actual service was a complete disappointment.
The way they engage with residents is frankly disgraceful. We were blindsided by their plans to install unsolicited ads in our living spaces, with no prior notice given until just a week before the installation was set to happen.
They might have engaged the community, but it was certainly not in the positive, meaningful way they promised. If anything, their lack of communication and respect for residents has left us frustrated and upset.
Definitely not the experience I expected. Would not recommend
Abode pretends to help connecting brands with their audiences in a meaningful way, and helping property partners create vibrant, engaged communities.
However, the way they engage with residents is absolutely disgraceful. We only learnt about their installation plans for unsolicited adds in our living space one week before the installation.
They certainly managed to engage the community but maybe not in the way they intended...
We recently had an Abode Media screen forced upon us in our residential building. There was no consultation with residents, and nobody asked for live video to be streamed directly into our homes.
Abode deals behind the scenes with Managing Agents on the promise of advertising revenue for the managing agent. Essentially bringing advertising directly into your home, as residents you get no say on this and Abode will ignore any requests to remove the screens. Just another cash grab.
