After payment, the seller canceled the order and responded rudely.

"vemos no te molestas en leer nuestro mensaje informativo sobre el costo envio ni en usar el traductor de google, cosa que si hacemos en cambio nosotros, en consecuencia anulamos el pedido ya que no nos apetece perder el tiempo de forma innecesaria"

Maybe they should take a course in education and English.

This is just such a bad company with a really low customer service. I finally received an e-mail that I will receive my refund (The seller sent me a "new" book but without the dust cover/dust jacket) but since I had blocked my old MasterCard, I obviously wanted the refund to go into my new card. I changed my card in my profile, wrote to the seller and also to Zvab/AbeBooks but got this message: "Refunds are automatically issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, the seller was unable to change the destination card for the refund." And "If the original Mastercard is no longer active, your bank should still be able to process the refund and transfer it to your new account. We recommend checking with your bank to confirm the refund has been properly routed." Everybody knows that it is a bitc... and takes so long time to contact your bank . . . What a waste of time, first to get a new book without is's dustcover, sent the book back, and now I don't get my refund unless I will go through the tiresome process of contacting my bank! This is the worst experience EVER shopping on an internet platform!

Terrible!!!! Sent a book with a separated spine and called it “Good”. When I complained, I was ignored. Learned my lesson.

Please do not order anything here, they offer books, never ship them, once you tell them you did not receive them, either they do not answer or they offer the books again in sale for a much higher orice than before? customer care sean, Karma will find you!!!!

Please do never order any of the books here! They offer second hand books for sale, them the delivery will never arrive and suddenly the same books are out online on their website for sale again but for 10 times as expensive as I paid them, this is a shame. Customer support Sean is lying all the time telling you that books are not available anymore whereas they are selling them for much higher price. A shame. Karma will turn it right. Pfffff

I bought a book from this store on the site from Moluna and I waited for the book for two months. I had to pay for the purchase twice, as the seller said that the payment message was in spam and he did not notice it. In the end, I paid twice, but the book was never delivered. Very disappointed

This is about Worldofbooks and Awesomebooks. Bought used books from them, claimed to be in excellent conditions, got books in very bad conditions or different editions. Do not buy from these sellers

We've been buying lots of books from the online store. The books are always exactly as the store described them & the delivery was as promised. Thank you so much for selling good stuff, and providing a good service. We'll definitely buy again later when we need more.

This is a review for Irish Booksellers (Maine) who sell through Abebooks, not Abebooks itself (which is generally excellent). Beware! Do not buy from these crooks! Fraudulently sell old books as new - among many scams. Purchased book through Abebooks sold as 'new', but received filthy battered copy. Seller kept promising partial refund that never materialised - as a way to spin-out process until Abe closes case. Clear from multiple online reviews this is a standard practise from merchant (in addition to even worse tricks). If you have already bought before reading this, persist in reporting to Abe & keep demanding refund dont accept brush-off...hopefully Abebooks will eventually take decisive action & close down these thieving con-merchants.
