I decided to relocate back to nigeria after over a decade in australia, sold my whole lifestyle work and flew to gemco in henan province to purchase 2 GCBA-11 screw press machines(22kw with 5kw heater), 2 briquette Press GCXM290( 5.5kw roller) and 1 500kg carbonization stove, one crane to lift the bucket in and out of stove.
After installation, I used for 2 months and noticed their was no grease inside the screw press even though the sale rep told the installer it had been put in. This machine has a capacity of 300 to 350kg/hr but i have been unable to meet this mark. One of the components seem different in both machines. I have complained severally about the screw wearing off quickly within the first month of use and she has given different reasons why, which I change but cant get said result. There a little iron filing which makes me believe it didnt have grease at point of supply.
The crane supplied was shorter than the bucket it was suppose to lift and the rep said it was a mistake and to increase at my own cost. I changed the screw and put fresh grease inside but that screw got worn but the second use which didnt last 7hrs of usage.
I have begged them to get a technician to come to nigeria to operate it, so it meets capacity, as am will to pay the cost for this technician including flight and all thats required but still no feedback.
Gemco is a fraud to me and I advise anyone wanting to purchase from them to get a signed agreement with them to come operate to capacity, as part of your purchase agreement. When they take your money, you are on your own.
I am presently back in australia trying to get work because a manufacturer choose to play with my dreams of producing waste charcoal.
It gives me doubt about Chinese businesses and it worries me more that Africa has chosen China as a partner to do business with. We are in trouble as a continent because our past colonisers still had quality at the forefront when they chose to do business with us.
African and Africa, be wary of Chinese businesses, once they get your money, you are on your own.

Anyang Best Complete Machinery (in short ABC machinery) delivered substandard machinery to us. They sent their own technicians to install the oil factory but they failed to make it work. Once the problem became big, the ran in the night. We never experienced such a unlawful, fraudulent and unprofessional behavior from a company of that size. Strong recommendation: Buy from another manufacturer.
