What made my experience great is that I had him come out and he remembered coming out here 10 years ago gave me a good deal was fast and easy to talk to even though I talk too much thank you I would recommend Abby's lock and key to anyone looking for someone to get them in or a new key

Jamie from Abbey Locksmiths fitted a new lock to my front door and really went the extra mile helping me set up the digital thumb prints and codes needed to allow everyone in the family access that needed it. He was punctual and polite and very Knowledgeable about what we needed and what would work best for our situation. At the time we needed carers to have access to our home and didn’t want to be giving keys out or use a key safe. This was the perfect solution and we are so pleased with it. Thanks again Jamie for a great job 👏

Jamie came out on a Saturday after we had been burgled to do a very bespoke repair to an old window lock damaged by the intruders. He went over and above and made it safer than before which has done wonders for my peace of mind. Many thanks for this excellent service

Absolutely brilliant service.
My back door suddenly wouldn’t lock. Rang Abbey Locksmiths at 12.15, Jay took my details and was with me before 14.00. An exceptionally pleasant young man, he diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and what he would need to do. On completing the work, I mentioned that the conservatory door lock was also proving tricky, and he agreed to look at it, and fix it there and then. All now working perfectly. Speedy, courteous and effective - and very reasonably priced.

Communications with Jamie were good and he arrived on time as agreed. He diagnosed the fault quickly, resolved the issue (a new gearbox was required) and had it fitted all within the space of about 40 minutes. He was respectful of my property, spent time showing me how the new lock worked (it was slightly different to my old one), let me test it out until I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone requiring a locksmith.

Found company via google. Emergency locksmith Jamie was excellent, turned up exactly when he said, no fuss, job done, explained why issue occurred, would recommend to my friends and family.

Jamie was very helpful - he helped solve the lock issue within a few seconds and quoted us a market-level price, while another independent (and perhaps less qualified) contractor quoted us triple (!!!) the price and tried to convince us that the only option was to "destroy" the existing lock and replacing with a new one, otherwise there are no other solutions in this world. I am so glad that I was skeptical to this and took Jamie's advice.
I think overall whoever that wants make money off of someone's vulnerability/ vulnerable situation needs to know that bad karma exists and it WILL bite them in the ass one day or the one after!

Would highly recommend Jamie.

Got myself locked out with my anxious dog and panicking like mad when I remembered seeing on a fb group how good abbey locksmiths were. Called them immediately, a very pleasant man called Jamie turned up and within minutes was able to rescue the situation without any damage to the door or locks, especially as we have high security locks on our door!!! Extremely professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for all your help!!!

I cannot thank the company enough for helping out a NHS screening mobile service that had a faulty lock. They went out of their way to help us and ensure we could get back on the mobile as quick as possible to continue screening the population. The locksmith was so accommodating, especially as it was his day off and family time but wanted to help.

We had a problem with our front door lock, called Abbey Locksmith as found them locally- fantastic service from arranging a free quote to advise on the issue and coming back to repair the problem. Everything was efficient and quick, Jamie the locksmith was professional and expert knowledge, Debbie who arranged it all was kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would use them again
