Do not purchase a car from this dealer

Do not purchase a car from this dealer.
We purchased a Renault captur automatic at the beginning of the year it has 33k miles on it and now the TCM - Transmission control module has gone. We had also added the 2 year warranty and the warranty company called Handler will not honour the repair as they say it’s a consumable part not the gearbox. Well without that part the gearbox doesn’t work and the car doesn’t drive.
Fuming is an understatement.
Phoned AAT and basically got told it’s a used car and you have expect these things.
Disgusting people. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Be very mindful

I recently arranged finance for a Mercedes 350e through AAT Quality Cars and my experience raised serious concerns.

The vehicle was advertised as having full service history. However, when I carefully reviewed the paperwork, there were clear gaps. The 2025 service stamp was missing, and the car had covered nearly 20,000 miles before receiving only an interim service. That is not what most reasonable buyers would consider “full” or properly maintained history.

When I raised these discrepancies and stated that I intended to take the car to Mercedes for an independent inspection, the salesman’s attitude immediately changed. Instead of welcoming transparency, he became defensive and told me I “should not take the car.” That reaction alone was a major red flag.

The conversation then shifted to the classic pressure tactic — claiming there were “two other people waiting to buy it.” This only reinforced my concerns rather than reassuring me.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from AAT Quality Cars — particularly the Mercedes ending in FNP — to carry out extremely thorough due diligence. Independently verify the service history, check the digital service record directly with Mercedes, and do not rely solely on what is stated in the advert.

Transparency and professionalism matter when making a high-value purchase. Unfortunately, I did not experience either here.

Proceed with caution.
