Totally arrogant when querried about the postage charge of a small starlift switch to be sent from there address to my address of £9.54 all they kept saying is thats what DPD Charge well, aim not sure of the exact date but last week sometime

I ordered a spare part from A1 Stairlifts. Simeon took my order and I gave card details to pay for it. The parts did arrive. However, A1 Stairlifts then took a further payment of £116 using my card details without my authorisation and were unable to provide me with an explanation. That was early September. In spite of many emails, text messages and phone calls I have not been able to recover those funds to date. (16/12/24) WARNING….my advice is do not provide this company with any bank or card details.

I was after a part for my stairlift and rang for some support. I got through to a guy called Simeone, he helped find the part and sent it same day. The next day DPD dropped it off.

Exactly the same as other customers!
Invoiced straight away for lift kit £180
One week later nothing…..?
Called sales manager part’s should be with me Friday nothing.
2 weeks later called to find out where order was to be told that a kit was coming from all different parts of country and that it was DPD’s fault.
Had no confirmation from A1 stairlifts parts to say had been dispatched.
Throughout whole process no comms.
Terrible company to deal with so steer clear or pay for parts once order has been received!!

I ordered an item from A1 Stairlift Spares late November 2021, they took my payments details and I waited......I rang them a week later to find out the whereabouts of the item and they said that the internet had gone down. The week after, same story, and the week after that. A month later I was told DPD had lost it. The week after, apparently, DPD had it at their depot and were meant to be posting it. The week after, another had been sent out. The week after, both items were stuck at the DPD depot and it would be returned to A1 Stairlift spares and to wait for a phone call on Wednesday. That was last week! 2 months later, I've given up, hoping that my payment details are not used fraudulently.

I wish companies would treat their customers with respect and not like they are fools.

A1 Stairlift Spares showed a total disregard towards me after I waited and waited for the item to be dleivered and for them to return phones when they said they would. They did not ring me once, when, I rang them at least 10 times!

BUY FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Ordered a training manual costing £99 on 14/02/21 - waited and waited - it didnt arrive - called them and was told it had gone missing in the post and they would check their stock and phone me back - they never did - I phoned again and was told I had been refunded because they had no more stock - I have waited over 14 days and there has been no refund so they obviously lied to me - beware of this company!

This is a FIRST CLASS company. You do not only get parts or service, but you get warm friendly technical advise as well.
