We had our van converted 10yrs ago, the service then was great, the van was converted on time and the quality of work the best we have seen in any converted vans. We have had no issues at all with the van until a gas strut failed on the roof. I am happy to say that 8 ball changed both gas struts whilst I waited. It was good to see 8 balls new purpose built facility, but even better to know that their attention to detail and quality of service is still superb. I would not have any hesitation in recommending anyone to have their van converted by 8 ball, one of the best choices we ever made.

My camper conversion was done ove ten years ago and I have such, peace of mind, that if I have a problem, "big or small" they will always be their for me.
I visited today for a couple of small issues and Mike and Colin stopped what they were doing and just sorted it out.
Big companys should take note of thier customer care, as its briliant.

We could not be more pleased with our 8 Ball Campervan converted VW T6.1. Colin and Mike listen to your requirements and give you the wealth of their experience. The quality of the workmanship, choice of equipment, finish, value for money and 2 year warranty speak for themselves. We chose the 8 Ball 2 SWB package and decided to go gas free. We now have a van fitted with an Induction Hob, 2 kWh Leisure Battery and a Solar Panel. This equipment gives us more flexibility, the option for lower pitch fees and will ultimately pay for itself . A first class job.

We talked( my wife's idea) for a long time about buying a campervan, I was not convinced, I bought a Van, and realised I would give it to some one and they would cut large holes in it! A recommendation came our way, 8ballcampers, a consultation, a lot of daft ideas,questions (from me) I found Colin to be straight forward, of course very knowledgeable, his advice was taken and we went with the 8ball spec conversion, ( we originally thought of a custom job)
There is always fear when spending a fair amount of money on a van (23 plate VW.Transporter) and full conversion, buyers remorse, my wife's dream not particularly mine, it's a worry, anyway that's my problem. We picked our units, flooring, trim, roof,etc, you can see vans at various stages of conversion, in a clean modern workshop, Colin and Mike on the shop floor, units manufactured in house. Once booked in, a 3 week conversion almost to the day and a real quality product appears, we've used the van for a year, many complements on the finish from interested people, some
great memories made, so the van was (expertly)converted and so was I, so thank you all.
Just to add, a small (very small chip on a door appeared close to a hinge, hardly noticeable really, we arranged for me to return and I met Alex who was the first (just before 8am) to open up, he asked how he could help, I explained and he was straight on to it. I can't praise Alex enough, friendly, polite had the job done in 30,mins, vacuumed, asked if any other issues, demonstrated the best way to fold the roof down, a credit to 8ball, this guy, 8:40am done, on this day I spoke to Mike, who again was great. I've heard and and seen horror stories regarding conversion companies, however I would not hesitate to recommend 8ball and have done.

Just collected my t6 today ( T6.1 74 reg swb 3 ) and must say that Colin , Mike and team build a quality product , its better than I ever expected with excellent customer service , they collected me from Train Station to save taxi fares and are a pleasure to do business with.
They do what they say they are going to do, in the timescale they say they will do it in and come up with a great quality conversion, other companies should take a leaf out of the 8 ball book. Worth waiting for the buildslot , one happy customer.

From initial advice, to quality of construction and aftercare, an excellent experience from start to finish.Colin and Alex were really helpful designing our T6.1 conversion for work and holiday spec with large leisure battery and solar panel. Everything is well thought through and built to a high standard by camper enthusiasts.

8Ball fitted a new floor and full width RIB seat/bed on a rail system, and curtains, to my 2019 VW Kombi Transporter van. The craftsmanship throughout is exceptional. I'm very pleased with the result and the way the project was managed. Great team to deal with, even dropped me off and collected me from the railway station. The work was completed in less than a week, enabling us to go off on holiday the very next day with our "new" van. Very pleased and can recommend 8Ball without reservation.

We bought our VW camper about 9 months ago and booked a time slot for a couple of repairs, one of which was a broken door hinge, which we accidentally broke off.
Both repairs were solved within an hour of us leaving the van with them. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt looked after.A big thank you to Mike and the team.

To replace our aging T2, 8ball sold us a 4 year old T6.1 that they had converted early in its life. Without even having to ask they replaced the canvas under warranty before we even took the van away.
Their after sales is second to none. I broke a light fitting which they replaced and fitted, no fuss.
This is a very professional, able and friendly business working to very high standards.
We love our new camper. Loads of room/ storage.. easy to set everything up... seats/beds/roof..electrics easy to master. And unlike in our T2, which we did love dearly, we know we will definitely get to our destination.

We called in for Mike to have a look at some minor wear & tear damage we had caused over the last 18 months. Mike and his colleague sorted out these and some other defects we hadn't spotted all within an hour. Brilliant customer service. I would recommend 8 Ball to anybody!

The guys at 8ball understand campervans; but more than that, they understand how people use them. They did not try to up-sell me anything I didn’t know I wanted and the end result of my camper conversion is exemplary. Everything I need, and nothing that I don’t. (for now)
Brilliant and friendly service, but like any good business, they are busy! So get booked in sooner rather than later!

8 Ball campers fitted our van with its windows, Side Awning and Pop Top Roof.
From start to finish they were fantastic. Clear with costs, timescales and communication. Their work is outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

After 6 years of using our beautiful VW T6 LWB, converted by 8Ball, we had a problem with our Austops Elevating Roof. Despite the roof being outside the warranty period, Colin and the team couldn't have been more helpful in finding a solution. The end result was a new roof fitted, in super-quick time, at a much reduced price. As with the original conversion, the workmanship and customer service was excellent. Our van continues to make us happy and is showing no signs of age since the original conversion in January 2019, despite very regular use. A great big thanks to all the team at 8Ball for really understanding and providing great customer service.

Fantastic service. We have had our camper for just over a year now and it's great. Great quality and experience. What Colin, Mike and the the team don't know about campers is not worth knowing. We have had a couple visits for some extras and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks guys

After two years of enjoying our 8ball camper conversion, I contacted Colin to say the original side door step was coming loose. Straightaway he said pop it in and we will get it sorted. It was carried out very quickly and efficiently. Thank you 8ball for once again your great service!!

2 years on and we are still really happy with our conversion. The design from 8ball works for us perfectly. If I've ever got a camper related question my first thought is to contact 8 ball and Colin and Mike always answer the phone and give great advice. Highly recommended

Brilliant camper conversion; could not be happier with the build quality and the customer service, both at handover and then subsequently when (patiently !) re-explaining "stuff" about the van that I had forgotten. Great people.

Great weekend away in one of the 8 Ball Camper Conversions.
Lovely and spacious converted transporter, that fit 4 adults in nicely, nice modern finishings and at night there was a lovely cosy feel to the van!
The layout was well thought out and I enjoyed having the storage space to keep the van tidy over the change up between night and day!
Definitely worth the purchase!

The team at 8 ball did a great job with the Van. Attention to detail has been superb and the customer service couldn’t be better. The interior has been designed in a way so that it is comfy and spacious with all the utilities you need. No company does it better than them in my experience. Any aftercare questions we’ve had have been dealt with quickly too. Would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I choose 8ball because of their good reviews and excellent price. I opted for the 8ball 2 conversion for my t6.1 swb.

I’m so pleased with the results. There was a 3 month waiting list but I guess that’s because they are so good.
