Waited 30 minutes on live chat. I shouldn't have to chase the free bet up but then to be told I needed a screenshot was laughable. Why would I take screenshots? Talk about dealing with fools.

I’ve used a lot of different bookies and had many great experiences, but this one is shockingly bad.

I joined 888 Sport due to their welcome offer ‘bet £10, get £30 in free bets’, so I read the T&Cs carefully and then placed a qualifying bet. However, once the bet settled, no free bets were added to my account.

The customer service is practically non-existent. The live chat bot is difficult to bypass and when I eventually managed to speak to a real person, I was informed that I hadn’t received my free bets because I withdrew my winnings from my qualifying bet - but nowhere in the T&Cs does it state this.

I’ve since emailed them and got no response. I then went on live chat again, managed to get through to a real person with great difficulty, and then was told that the offer is for invited customers only. But if the offer is aimed at new customers without existing accounts, then how on earth are you supposed to get invited?!

It seems their promos are nothing but empty promises designed to reel you in, and they’ll come up with every excuse under the sun not to honour them.

The live chat function is also incredibly glitchy on both the app and the website, as the chat bar disappears behind the keyboard and you can’t see what you’re typing.

Stay away from this company - there are far, far better options out there.

Such a dodgy company, don’t have a contact number, don’t seem to take notes. I started using the account and placed deposits via PayPal every time I tried to deposit it would spin but no funds went into my account and I tried multiple times and nothing come out of my bank account so thought nothing of it. I requested for my account to be closed down and all those PayPal payments that never went through before, have now come out of my bank account. I have requested for my bank to recover the funds but now have PayPal trying to recover the money which I don’t owe. 888 chat are unhelpful.

Tried to sign up as a new customer,would not accept the promotion code,web chat would not honour the offer.clickbait offer,not to be trusted.

Can’t even change a team in an Acca when not wanting to change a stake and well before KO even though the correct team was selected but the system input the incorrect team. By far the worst online site going

Stay well away from these frauds I did the bet €10 get €30 in free bets my bet settled. Contacted customer support they said oh it takes up too 72hours and I'll have my free bets 100% by Wednesday as in today.4 days later there saying that I didn't qualify and that you need a promo when you don't it comes up before you deposit. They have temporarily closed my account now aswell absolute fraudsters everyone stay well clear of these absolutely abysmal

This company stole around 500 Euros from me, by pretending that my residence documentation was not valid, though I provided both phone bills, electricity bills and official public confirmation of my adress.

I’ve been a customer of 888sport for some time, but my recent experience has been extremely frustrating.

I requested a withdrawal of $10,600 on March 15, and since then it has still not been processed. I have already submitted all required verification documents multiple times, yet I keep being asked to provide more information, which is causing unnecessary delays.

Deposits are processed instantly, but withdrawals seem to be treated very differently. This lack of consistency is concerning.

I have now escalated this issue to iGaming Ontario. I hope this matter will finally be resolved soon, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this platform.

They can start by allowing people to withdraw their money

As per all the previous reviews, this site should be avoided at all costs. They currently hold £125 of my money. Not a fortune but still my money. Trying to get hold of anyone is impossible and I can't believe there is no ombudsman available for individual cases.

PI won with a offered FREE bet.This started me betting again.After a period I wished to stop as it was obsessive,I am 84 years and I asked them to close my account,they would not comply to my wishes and offered a tempory closure which I was not satisfied with.What can I do as I don,t want to start betting AGAIN.Prior they claimed technical faults to withhold some monies to prevent withdrawel, till out of frustration I had bet it and lost.

Been with 888 for many years and am verified ..i didn't believe all the reviews on here but yesterday they froze my account withdrawals for no reason.

Right now I am completely mentally devastated they have behaved this way as i have only followed their rules. Not quite sure what i did wrong but now i know why people commit suicide.

888 have no phone number, they only have live chat. So they will run you around in circles esp one of the operators named Rodel.

Right now taking legal action is the only option.

My experience was absurd: I registered as a completely brand-new user, and within minutes, before even making my first deposit， my account was suspended. Their operations team sent a cold email claiming my account is linked to other accounts on their network, which is factually impossible, as I have never used their service or any of their affiliates before.

When I contacted live chat to resolve this obvious system error, they demanded a selfie of me holding my ID just to look into it. Expecting a new customer to provide such sensitive biometric data to fix a mistake caused by their own faulty software is intrusive and unprofessional.

This platform is a technical mess and treats new users with immediate, baseless suspicion. Do not trust them with your money or your identity. I’m moving my business to a platform that actually values its customers.

Fraud company
You win money and they decline your withdrawal after being verified

They asked me for my bank statement/ utility bill, my drivers licence and then a photo if me holding my ID. Possibly doing this to get biometric data so they can commit fraud in my name or whatever. I didnt even make money with them but I tried to withdraw and they just wouldnt let me. Eventually after i provided the documents they said verification couldnt be done and refused to give me my funds. They are scammers. Scammers 100%

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with 888poker.
After requesting a withdrawal, my account was suddenly temporarily disabled. I was then asked to provide additional verification documents — specifically:
Bank statement
My full name
Bank name
Address
BIC/SWIFT code
I have already submitted these documents more than 21 times over 21 days via email and live chat.
The main issue is this:
They require me to log in to access the cashier and upload documents, but my account is blocked — so I cannot access the cashier. This makes it impossible to complete the verification process properly.
After repeatedly contacting support, I was eventually told by email that my account is blocked for 6 months minimum (or longer). Meanwhile, my withdrawal is still pending and they are holding my money.
This has been extremely stressful and disappointing. Communication has been unclear, and support has not resolved the issue despite providing all requested documentation multiple times.
At this point, I am simply asking for:
My withdrawal to be processed
A clear explanation
Fair treatment regarding my funds
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend 888poker due to account blocking issues and withdrawal delays plz don't waste ur time here try any where else I say pokerstars is great once verified 😉 apon your account opens before u can play has to verified ID EMAIL BANK PHONE NUMBER ADDRESS NEVERTHELESS THEY CAN PROVIDE SAFE WITHDRAWAL BUT IF THEY SAID 3 DAYS IT WONT TAKE 21DAYS AND STILL PENDING

Scam, not paying my winnings nor accepting documents for no good reason. Not recommended.
