I cannot thank barrister Carl Buckley enough for his exceptional pro bono assistance in my Judicial Review against the ICO. As a litigants in person I faced major procedural and legal challenges, but Mr Buckley’s patience, clarity, and dedication made all the difference. He reviewed my entire case bundle, offered balanced and practical advice, and helped me avoid serious legal risks. So Disappointed with Teri Howell
Even I presented her with sufficient Evidence, she failed to Continue with my case and she was frightened to lose be because she said the other party has big pockets,and she left me being frustrated, I should have find a much better chamber.
Also Charleigh Thurston and Elizabeth Gunn are the worst useless Rude And unprofessional admin staff ,
On top of that Don’t bother complaining to their complain department because it’s not independent and basically Don’t waste your time and money,
Find A proper chamber .

What an absolute joke they’re. The judge clearly considers himself a doctor. I paid him 1.5k to be a judge!!!!!

Update, they think I’ve got the wrong business. Nope, the so called court where you can lie before and during and nothing happens. Where the judge thinks he’s a doctor and also gives career advice.

I highly recommend Mr. Milad Shojaei as an exceptional Barrister . In a particularly challenging case where essential documents were missing due to the negligence of a previous lawyer, Mr. Milad went above and beyond by dedicating extra time to locate and present them to the court.

During the Fact-finding hearing, his professionalism was truly remarkable. He demonstrated thorough preparation and effortlessly highlighted crucial details of the case. Additionally, his approach to sensitive matters involving domestic violence was characterised by genuine empathy.

We had the absolute honour of having Dr S Chelvan represent our adopted twin daughters citizenship case in 2022/2023. Our family were in exceptionally difficult circumstances, fighting against numerous home office errors, whilst unable to return home to the UK. Dr S Chelvan was not only an incredible barrister through the entirety of our case, but he was a pillar of strength and support for us. His knowledge was second to none, he was meticulous in compiling our cases, he left no stone unturned and this resulted in our case being won without a single question. Working on our case with him was an honour. Our daughters lives are forever transformed because of Dr S Chelvan, and because of his support and wisdom my husband and I grew more than we ever knew possible.

Five stars are not nearly enough to express my gratitude and the highest esteem for Dr Chelvan from 33 Bedford Row. I battled with the U.K. Home Office for years and with various exceptional law experts, but I was still losing. The tide turned when Dr Chelvan took my case in Dec 2021-Nov 2023...to say he walked an extra mile for me would be the understatement of the century. Even during his bereavement leave, he still showed up to defend me. To see him at work is to experience a masterclass in law practice and a demonstration of the purest compassion for me as a client in distress. As God above is my witness, I'm convinced I wouldn't be here without his hard work; dedication; professionalism and immeasurable empathy.

I can not recommend Miss Aysha Miah enough. I have instructed her multiple times now in multiple complex cases via a solicitor and through direct means. I would not consider going into court without her amazing representation.
Her knowledge of the law, her clear way of presenting the case and excellent representation has turned my case around many times when things seemed bleak.
Mine was a family case and Aysha grasped the details quickly and thoroughly and always put the well being of my child at the forefront of her representation.

Please DO NOT USE THIS CHAMBERS - MARTIN DAVIS IS THE WORSE barrister and very unethical.
I used Martin Davis for my fact finding hearing and paid him his full fee. He promised me my case is very strong as I have ample evidence of Domestic abuse and further more evidence were provided by the police reports and my GP.
On the day of my fact finding hearing, I saw him receive a bundle of money from my ex husband I was confused and did find this suspicious but as I was already under a lot of stress I tried to concentrate on my case. As soon as myself and Martin came out of the court room, he told me that he is going to withdraw my case. I was extremely shocked and insisted we go ahead with the case as I had strong evidence and I was concerned about my children's well being. He still withdrew my case without my consent, I was unable to say anything as I had appointed a barrister. I was so upset that Martin had taken a bribe from my ex to ruin my case. He has no morals and does not care about the client or their case and just about money. I have now had to represent myself as I paid Martin a substantial amount of money for ruining my case.

Worst chambers I have ever dealt with.
