I signed up for the trial membership to try out the gym and see if I liked it. I did not like it and that is why I canceled. I signed up for a particular plan because I was informed by a 24-hour fitness employee at the front desk that I would only pay a dollar and I could try the gym out until the 18th and see if I liked it. If I didn't like it, I could always cancel and there were no other costs. He said it would only cost me a dollar. I called to cancel the account and was informed that I had to pay a $50 late fee. So, either the employees are providing improper information, or they're lying. If this late fee is in the fine print somewhere, it is very buried and obviously, the $1 bait-and-switch routine is extremely deceptive. There is fine print on the first page that states there "may" be early termination fees but the link goes nowhere. The only fine print available is AFTER you've gone through the lengthy sign up process and any "early termination fee" is buried in a bunch of other fine print on many pages (quite intentionally). I'll be leaving a 1-star review on Google, Trustpilot, and Yelp. I'll be filing complaints with a Better Business Bureau and the attorney general's office of Washington state. Businesses should not be allowed to continue these deceptive business practices.

This club is an embarrassment. Of 9 stair climbers, 5 are not working. As an alternative, I jumped on a treadmill. Also not working.

The club is filthy. The machines have layers of dust on them. Some of the cardio machines have multiple splashes of liquid on them which we can only presume to be sweat. (Let’s hope.) There are balls of dust and lint as well as debris collected all over the floor and around the machines. It’s been so long that the toilets in the women’s locker room have been cleaned properly, there are mildew stains around the bowls.

So why do I still work out here? They closed the West Woodlands location during the pandemic, even thought that club was ALWAYS busy. Maybe they should find the GM from that club and ask for input.

They decided to triple my grandfathered annual membership fee without notice. Don't fall for their lies that they will offer you an annual membership at a rate that will not increase in the future. This is the second time they have done this to me.

Machines keeps breaking and they take months to fix them I keep reporting the broken machines and the workers at the front they act like they just don’t care if I decide to start going to the gym is because I want to work hard in my body and the machines keep braking if y try to talk to the gym main manager they never get him for me they said that the manager don’t want to talk to peoples they said they can help me out but no they never help us me and many others peoples keep complaining and reporting the broken machines and they take months the to fix them they have a machine to work in my abs or abdomen that’s one of my favorites and Its already 6 weeks since I first report it and still broken after so many reports that machine still broken and every month they charge our monthly payment right on time and they don’t give us any discount for the broken machines they charge they same amount and on time I really won’t recommend 24 hours gym the service is very bad and managers and employees dont care about customers they keep ignoring us what a bad really bad service the gym iam talking about is the one by showers drive and el Camino real in Mountain View California!!!
I also report the steam room is not working Not hot enough takes 5 minutes to start again and when it starts after just 30 seconds it stop again and won’t start till 5 minutes later I report it to the front guys for 5 months now and they never fix it that’s why I decide to leave this report or bad feedback!!!!
I report all this problems to Jorge and other employees and they just don’t care about it

24 hour fitness Lakes Of Bella Terra has discontinued over 50% of their GX classes. There are one class in the morning and maybe 3 the rest of the day. There are no GX classes on Friday 2 classes Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Most of the classes are gone it’s certainly not worth belonging If you like going to classes, I will definitely cancel my membership and

Was a member here for 23 years. Sure they kept charging America during covid and there was no way out except to chargeback at the bank, but after 23 years I moved and had to cancel, even double checked I canceled, and 3 months later I see they been charging me. Not sure I'll ever go back.

Our experiences with this gym have always been positive. A lot of gyms went a little downhill or closed the last 3 years so it’s nice to have one that’s reliable clean and still meeting certain standards

Very BAD service.
I subscribed on 24 Hrs Fitnesses Balboa at San Diego by phone on June 2022 for a year. I went only 3-5 times during the year because they cancelled the classes I used to go.
Last week I found out 24 Hrs Fitnesses have charged me for another year!!!
Called 24 Hours at Balboa and the Manager told me I agreed on an automatic renewal. I asked for any prove of agreement but so far they have not showed me any agreement or intention to contact me.

If you joined 24 hour fitness for the pool beware they are cutting back pool hours in the middle of the day when seniors and disabled people use the pool most. They don't bother to fix anything and simply remove items when they break. They are discriminating against the seniors and disabled by taking away midday hours at the pool, even though they are a silver sneakers gym! Beware of joining because you may get less than expected.

I am 80 years old, have been walking around with bent head, shoulders and back, and unable to sit up straight. After taking the remarkable Hollywood Halsey Street 24 Hour Senior Fitness Classes from expert teachers three times a week, I am able to stand up straight, sit up straight, I know how to get there and what it feels like to be there. Miracle.

great place to get fit! I like the machines and the friendly staff - the only downside is that you can't exercise with your pets

Been going here for a year. Lockers never work. Always people sitting on machines taking pictures instead of working out. Waist of money. Staff does nothing to move people not using machines just let's them sit there and waist your time.

The Paramus NJ location is poorly managed. Machines and lockers break and aren't fixed for months at a time. The gym is dirty and the staff is unengaged. Their hours change with little or no notice or explanation. In fact, their website says they are open until 11 pm each night and that is untrue. Their hours were abridged some time ago and the website was never updated. There doesn't seem to be any accountability or pride in running the facility. All that could be overlooked but when I sought help today to renew my membership, a front desk staff member was rude and unhelpful. And so...I write this review let the public know how poorly the operation is run.

Charging without permission. Difficulty to cancel.

I had two cancellation requests with 24 hour fitness. Even had the confirmation email. They still charged me, refused the refund. I had to have my bank block the charges to "cancel".

Hello. here's the deal I always pay a yearly fee and have no problem with the transition of new membership per check in to my gyms in the bay Area. But since March of this year all I have had is problems, the system did not change my old to new and the check in bar code stood the same as the old. I have asked all staff at the Redwood City gym for assistance because the website says they would be able to resolve this issue. That did not work and that put Monica, Karla, Bobby, Robert on the spot for my frustrations. I just want to give Monica and Karla a real special gratitude and appreciation for everything they tried to do for me. Bless their souls they tried everything for me. Please Ownership I hope you give them a special thanks from me. So,this is a more technical problem and the thing I don't understand is why didn't IT act to my calls and emails? I'm baffled but not disappointed mainly because of Monica and Karla they gave me hope not to cancel my membership. Thank you both dearly.

gym is filthy dirty lots of paper napkins left everywhere in the gym and in the women bathroom and little tad cold to work.
It feels like a getto 24 hourfitness gym.

I’ve had the pleasure to assist many 24 hour fitness es in CA and have always been treated with respect! They have great equipment and a art culture in fitness! Great personal trainers and their General Manager, Elie Kordahy was great!

Probably top America fitness centre, just needs a bit more cleaning
