I was charged an $88 renewal fee without a heads up. And let’s be honest, with the mountain of incoming emails we are bombarded with, a more direct notification (preferably a text) is critical. But th... See more

21 draw offers a lot of great and interesting courses for every level, I think beginners and artists with intermediate levels will profit the most. From character design to story telling with your drawings to learning how to improve your drawings with little changes especially for commercial use, it offers a wide range of different topics.
I got back to drawing thanks to Mark Kistler's "Learn to draw in 21 days" course published on this site. I found it really motivating and I was able to easily produce some qualty drawings myself.
Even not being a experienced artist, I found some valuable resources for beginners there, produced by popular and experienced artists on Instagram and other platforms.
I strongly appreciate most courses have been translated and voiced to the Spanish language, which makes them much easier to follow without reading the subtitles, which draws your attention from what the teacher is doing.
I really like this site and hope they keep adding more courses, specially from Mark Kistler and Rodgon.

I recently took advantage of a promotional offer for full access to 21 Draw, and I must say, it was way cheaper than other platforms I looked at! I didn't think I could improve skills like drawing and painting solely through online videos to be honest. However, their courses have proven to be incredibly beneficial and enjoyable! I also ordered Illustrators guidebook but I had an issue with delivery because of my PO address. Thankfully, the customer support team investigated the matter and fixd it. Now, I have my book and I'm using that alongside the the courses. The books is more an inspirational book, but the courses are really indepth and educational. Maria, one of the art teachers, is simply brilliant, and we've even had contact on IG outside of 21 Draw 🙂 The courses by Maria, Rodgon and Feefall are some of my favourites.

21 Draw were really helpful and fantastic when it came to helping me with my recent purchases! The books are beautiful and really insightful so I would definitely recommend! :-)

Their “sale” never ends. The timer on their site is fake, just to push people to buy. They are manipulative crooks.

I signed up for an annual membership in 2021. Then in 2023, I asked them to cancel my membership and they didn’t, then billed me again in 2024. I had to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I have emailed their support 6 times, and only received one response which was very unhelpful. Terrible customer service
Edit: They only issued a refund after I raised a dispute with my credit card company. I requested a cancellation in 2022, of which I have email proof. Then in 2023 they still charged me for the annual renewal. I emailed again and asked for a cancellation and refund which was ignored. In 2024 the same thing happened again. When I disputed the transaction with my credit card company I got a refund for 2024, but not for 2023. I was also told by customer support that they refused to refund my 2023 payment (mostly I think because I can’t dispute that one with my bank because the time period for disputes has passed meaning 21Draw is off the hook and can get away with not refunding me without consequences.)
There is absolutely no valid reason not to offer refunds on an annual membership that charges in advance if someone cancels and requests a refund within a day or so of being charged.
It’s purely a cash grab. Disgusting company. Avoid like the plague.

This site has been a real lifesaver for me, filling in some serious gaps in my education and skills. So, things like character design, animation basics, and character-driven illustration kinda got swept under the rug or just skimmed over. But then I stumbled onto 21 Draw, and I glad I did. I've taken a bunch of courses there, but two really stood out for me: Tony Bancroft's animation class and Isabella Staub's Procreate course. Tony Bancroft's class was like getting a masterclass from someone who's been in the trenches of animation for ages. His tips and tricks have totally leveled up my animation game. And Isabella Staub's Procreate course? Man, it's like she opened up a whole new world for me in digital illustration. Now, I feel like a pro navigating through Procreate, turning my ideas into digital masterpieces. The mix of instructors and courses on 21 Draw is just awesome. Learning from pros like Bancroft and Staub, who are out there doing their thing in the creative world, has given me such a confidence boost. It's like having a personal mentor right at my fingertips. Overall, my experience with 21 Draw has been amazing. I've been spreading the word to all my creative buddies who are in the same boat as me. Trust me, if you're looking to beef up your skills and fill in those education gaps, 21 Draw is a great idea.

21-Draw made my art skills to the next level. What I struggled with before that seemed like with no solutions to, I took these easy to understand courses and made my art a lot easier to design and form. These courses really go into all the different subjects you need to understand to create something impressive, especially in cartoon style. Also I really love how I learned to use digital art like Procreate with no former experience with it.
I was impressed by my first art with use of these courses, I never thought I could create something so.. professional like, pretty fast. I highly recommend this if you’re interested in digital art, creating characters in cartoon or anime style and make portraits.

BUYER BEWARE - 21Draw only offers annual memberships and they also enroll you in auto renewal. If you forget to unsubscribe they will charge your renewal and absolutely refuse to refund it. No heads up, no emails, nothing. Lots of people have complained about the same with no changes from 21Draw. They bank on inattentive customers.
I would not buy from them ever again due to this shady business practice. If you do buy, be sure to cancel if you don’t plan to renew.
Update: 21Draw insists they sent me a notification email for auto withdrawal when they most certainly did not. I’m not sure why they would adhere so strictly to the no refunds policy, making a point here that they educate customers about this (but not really). Couldn’t you just give a refund when it’s requested (within 12 hours in my case) on a 1-year subscription. That was my kids’ Christmas money. I submitted a refund request and got absolutely no response until I went through PayPal and it was kicked back a couple times before being denied outright. Many companies are happy to give it back- and Id happily return to those companies, should I need those services in the future.
No, this is slimy biz. Your customers are telling you this. It’s not just me.

I recently had my first experience with 21 draw, although it isn’t my first experience with an online learning platform.
For anybody on the fence about trying 21Draw, you should know that my initial experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
The content, pacing and delivery of my chosen course, (figure drawing) is excellent and despite being an intermediate level artist with a few commissions under my belt, I’ve learned a ton of tips and tricks from Neimy, the course instructor.
I think this will be the first of many courses that I try on 21Draw.

Support from the team was extraordinary! I initially believed there was a mistake and the book had not been delivered. They immediately responded and sent the book. It turned out it was my mistake in the address!!! I let them know, and they were really understanding through the whole process.

I can’t sign in to my account, I get a message saying my email address isn’t register. I recently bought two courses on November 27 using the account I can’t access. I sent an email explaining the situation with receipts of the purchases but haven’t receive a reply from costumer service. I hope they see this, so they can help me resolve the issue.

I cancelled my subscription with them and I was still billed for it.
When I wrote to support didn't receive anything back from them.
I would not recommend using them.

Bought one subscription as a gift but my teen did not connect with the content and it went unused. BUT the auto renewal on the subscription was charged with NO advance email reminder. There is NO flexibility or proration for canceling a few hours after learning of the charge. The App/Site makes cancelling rather difficult and Customer Service made no exceptions.
Better companies remind of coming auto renewals and are more flexible on such complaints. My impression is that a significant part of their business is based on auto renewals that can’t be reversed, IMO.

I bought this as a gift for others last year. They automatically renewed without a heads up and even though I immediately reached our after the charge they came back to me letting me know that they don't offer refunds for renewals.
Better off with free drawing content on youtube. A business that doesn't have flexible refunding is after your money on the surprise automatic renewal. I would have even got it for more gifts had I had a good experience going through customer service.

BEWARE, they will charge you a full year renewal without any notice. I didn’t even knew I had to cancel my last year membership and it says they won’t offer a refund if it’s a renewal payment. I bought this last year and haven’t use it since, I thought this product was good but doing money by scamming says the opposite. And as I bought the two for one plan, I think they even charged me twice. / UPDATE:
They did charged only one course, but I don’t have any email from a week before, and this happening to several people for more than 6 months doesn’t seem to be a genuine mistake.
