This comapny is very deceptive
This comapny is very deceptive. The item descriptions are not very clear. We ordered break pads and rotors for our vehicle, we thought we ordered a front kit and a rear kit. When we received out items we had 2 rear kits. Looking at the itmes descriptions I can see how an error could be made, the items were listed as rear with front calpiers. I have never seen any other auto parts site list pads and rotors like this. We were never adivsed that there would be an outrageous return shipping charge. The reprsenative that processed my return never once mentioned there would be any kind of return shipping charge. The return shipping charge was sent in an email, which arrived seperate from the email containing the return labels. Any other company I've dealt with has the labels and any other information all in one email. The return shipping fees were over half the cost of the itme, had I shipped the items back out of my own pocket they would have cost less. Customer service is just a bunch of robotic himans, they read from their script and can not think outside of the box. They do not care that they are deceptive and misleading. "We'll have this reviewed internally" AKA too bad, so sad, you're out of luck! I will never do business with 1A Auto again! And I will never reccomend the to anyone! MY advice, STAY AWAY!!
1A Auto
I have been a customer of 1A Auto for years and have never had an issue till this last time. I ordered a set of upper and lower control arms; the cost was $429.71 and advised delivery by Friday. I received Half of my order on Friday, which was the stated delivery day, but haven't received the other half. I made sure I took time off to install the parts this weekend. I checked the tracking, and it was shipped from Amazon. It was shipped on the same date, time, and location as the one that was delivered. When I emailed 1A Auto to find out what happened, they sent an automated response, with the tracking information I already knew. If I would have known they were just using Amazon I would have ordered it from there instead. Unfortunately, this will definitely make me hesitant to use 1A Auto in the future.
They are thieves and terrible Customer Service …
I ordered a part based off of their website and the part was completely wrong they won’t issue a full refund I am calling them scammers. Use rock auto instead

It's always a joy to check out 1A Auto. Even when they make a mistake, sending 2 parts of the same sku part number and not dbl checking it, haha. It's really not a problem. Thankful 1A is goal to quality and customer care. Refunding and communication. Makes working together positive!

These are the "good guys". Their prices are great, their training videos are great and their support people are REALLY great. I'm 80 years old and retired and can't afford to pay someone $400 to fix a power window issue that I can fix myself for the price of a $65 replacement part. THANKS A1.

50/50 chance on your part being defective, even on hardware parts. Return policy isn't customer friendly, I lost money with this company. Videos are good but the parts not so much. Save your money trust me.

I have been purchasing parts from…
I have been purchasing parts from a1auto for many years, and have never had a complaint or concern until now. I purchased a ball joint for my mercury 2002 grand marquis in 2022 , but did not get around to changing them until this year 2025. After replacing the ball joint on the passenger side using my ball joint press it finally seated. After starting to press the ball joint on the drivers side and removing my press the joint was loose and i could move it with my hand. I checked the packaging and found the numbers were different. The one that fix perfectly was a PSA66096 which was on the passenger side. The one on the drivers side was a PSA66024 which was suppose to be the number for that model car was the one that was loose. I ended up using a thin piece of sheet metal in order to get it to seat. I ordered a replacement PSA66024 and found that one did not fit. I was getting ready to send the old part back when i found out i would have to pay for shipping. I don't know what happen but just letting you know that things can go wrong down the line. Note! No front end parts had ever been replaced on this car.
My part went bad after 105 days - NO REFUND!
My part (alternator) went bad after 105 days, and they would not refund me. They say they will only replace the defective part, which I do not need now because I had it replaced AGAIN (at my cost, of course, they don't consider that) by a different brand since I did not have the time to wait for another delivery. If they do not stand behind the products they sell, I would not recommend buying anything from this company!!!
Quality parts and customer service
Although, I have had problems with a part I ordered, this was do to rough handling during the shipping not 1A Auto. 1A Auto's customer service has been great in handling my refund. I continue to do business with 1A Auto because of the quality of the parts and the customer service.
