Disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience ordering the mandatory Barça Academy kit through 11teamsports.
Parents are advised by the academy to order the kit at least 10 days before the camp, which I did. However, nowhere during my ordering process or in my order confirmation was a delivery estimate of 22–26 days clearly displayed, despite customer service later claiming that it was.
Training starts on Monday, and I still have not received the complete order. Even standard, non-customised items such as Nike headbands remain undelivered with no delivery date, no proactive communication, and no explanation.
I have sent multiple emails and tried calling customer service without success. Instead of providing a clear delivery date, I was simply told that the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
What is also confusing is that parents are told these customised kits require several weeks to produce, yet participants without a kit are apparently able to purchase one at the academy itself. If kits are available on-site, it is difficult to understand why customers ordering well in advance are left waiting without information.
My advice to other parents enrolling their children in Barça Academy camps is to confirm the actual delivery timeline and the mandatory kit requirements well in advance, and not rely solely on the ordering process to provide this information.
I hope both 11teamsports and the academy improve transparency and communication so future families do not face the same situation.
