Superb and efficient customer service. Super quick deliveries and very easy to use website.

George, Becca and Fred are a great team at WVA. Nothing is ever a problem for them. It is really helpful having the cut off date so close to auction start unlike many other auctions. Payments too are made very quickly giving the best opportunity to turn your money and sellers fees are really low. For buyers delivery is really quick and fees are also low.

Collected my bottles, listed them and sold them, such an easy transaction and very happy with the prices. The thing that stands out the most is i got paid 4 days after auction. No messing around holding payments like other larger auction houses do.

WVA have been nothing but excellent in the Auction process, communication, quality of photography and the ease of using the Website. Payment is always recieved on time.WVA is my No1 Whisky auction site that I use.
WVA are based on the South coast within easy reach of my location, this gives me the confidence as I can deal Face to Face and this provides a very personal approach

(Buyer experience). Accurate bottle descriptions. A convenient feature when you bid: it displays the actual final price (bid + fees + VAT), so no nasty surprises at checkout. Cherry on the cake: Bottles delivered the following day.

I won a lot in April and I got taken to hospital as I was ill and had to stay in for a few weeks and when I came out paid for my item plus I emailed them to say I was in hospital they have emailed me to say they are refunding me my money as my item got put back in the Auction that is on now.

Prices are same as retail, not sure what is the point of auction here!

It's a great auction website, I have only bought to date, so from a buyers view it's certainly been a safe and proficient experience so far, purchases can be insured for delivery for a relatively modest fee, although I must say that the packaging is so impressive that the bottles would have to be opened and turned upside down for anything untoward to happen to them.

Fantastic experience with WVA for the following reasons: (1) excellent website (2) great selection of Ardbegs at competitive prices for what I view as really collectible bottles (3) the delivery was impeccable - fantastic packaging and timely delivery (4) the quality of the bottles received was spotless/mint. Will definitely be using WVA again to buy and sell.

Put in a max bid but I was outbid an 1hr and 40 mins after the end of auction countdown had begun.
If it was a battle for the bottle I would understand to let the auction continue, but only one more bid was made after mine hours earlier.

Ok, so I have had a call from George to clarify the situation re auction end time, thank you.
However, for someone to bid very late, I still do not agree with.
Other sites, if there is no activity on a bottle for 10 mins, it closes and the bottle is yours, not 1hr 40mins.
George, don't worry, I'll be back again for your next auction.
