While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Well that was scary. Just found this site after reading Unmasking Autism and feeling open to finding a community - my account was blocked immediately before I had said/read anything on the forum. Contacted the admin email and…crickets….back in the closet I go!
One of the mods is a dark triad and a Snowflake. Not a good combo, because they hand out permabans like its candy, and they do not follow their own rules. I'm not sure if all the mods are like this, but they are complicit by allowing the mod to do whatever they want.
Imo this is a harmful environment to autists. There is no way to fairly appeal a ban and one of the mods has a form of autism in such a way they lack the reading comprehension to accurately interpret the meaning of your posts.
Autists do not need looming hoovering mods banning them on whims, nor do they need to be censored so much. Autists already get enough censorship from not following normie's norms, they do not need that oppression from other autists.
PS: A lot of people will complain about social injustices, but ignore how mods on boards like this are even more injust and do not provide fair trials, and instead be suddenly be hypocrits and claim its "a private not public space".
I have seen several cases of bullying on this forum, to the extent that the users left the forum. Myself being one of them. Moderators are incredibly manipulative in their ways of communicating and show little to no empathy. Even saw them spreading lies about bullied users to make themselves look good. They even openly talked about the contents of private messages.
Among the moderators is even a person who has severe mental problems, to the point of being suicidal. All moderators are on the spectrum and are hard to communicate with.
The admin is unreachable and hardly ever present. This forum is very outdated and there are many issues caused by this. Have had it happen several times that the forum was down for days. Even had my account get corrupted, needing me to make a new one, losing all my private messages. Moderators told me they had no admin rights to fix my old account…
For such a fragile group of people, who already have a hard time communicating, I would recommend against visiting this forum. It is not a safe place.
