Ordered a fitted rubber strap for my…

Ordered a fitted rubber strap for my Tudor Ranger. Shipping was fast and the strap fits like a glove and is top notch. Ordered one from Helvetus and their website said it was natural rubber but packaging from Chinese manufacturer says it is silicone and didn't fit well. Stay away from that scam company.

This is an update to my existing review…

This is an update to my existing review of the moonswatch rubber strap and deployant clasp. I had mentioned in the review that the deployant clasp had some sharp edges that irritated my wrist. I received an email reply from the CEO and an offer of another strap/clasp to try. Wristbuddies sent me a new strap and I can confidently say that the finishing on this one is much better and more comfortable. All in all, an excellent product and fantastic customer service. The strap is a massive improvement to the moonswatch!

Bought two straps for my wife and I

Bought two straps for my wife and I. Straps are super comfortable and I like how nice they fit in or watches. They come with all the tools and spring bars you need plus some. Very pleased with there straps and will definitely be buying more.

Excellent quality and great customer experience
I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of the strap — the materials, stitching, and overall finish are outstanding and feel premium in every detail. It fits perfectly and looks even better in person than in the photos.
What really stood out to me was the customer experience. Communication was smooth, professional, and friendly, which made the whole purchase feel effortless and reassuring.
Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I am a huge advocate for purchasing…

I am a huge advocate for purchasing goods from within the European Union. That was one of the primary reasons I decided to buy a sailcloth strap from Wristbuddys. I told myself: "OK, I am paying a premium, but it is worth it because I will receive a high-quality strap in no time."

For shipping, I specifically selected FedEx Connect Plus, which is a day-definite international delivery service promised within one to four business days across Europe. However, Wristbuddys unilaterally changed the carrier to DHL e-Commerce, which is arguably the worst shipping solution available.

My order was placed on 23 December and did not arrive until Friday 9 January. This delay occurred because DHL e-Commerce hands over parcels to local postal services, which is a total nightmare. While I am perfectly fine with paying a premium price for the product, I expect the premium service to match it.

Today, I went to the post office but was unable to pick up my parcel because there were 50 people waiting in line. Had the package been sent via FedEx Connect Plus as requested, this situation would never have happened. This was my first and definitely my last time buying from Wristbuddys.

We’re genuinely very sorry about this experience. This is clearly not how we want any customer to feel and we understand your frustration, especially when you paid for a specific premium shipping service.

Just to explain what happened, when you placed your order on December 23rd, FedEx informed us they would not pick up shipments due to Christmas Eve and multiple public holidays. The next available pickup would have been December 30th, which would have delayed things even further. Because of that, we made the decision to ship with DHL e-Commerce in the hope that you would receive your package faster. Unfortunately, in your case, that clearly did not work out and we fully understand why that feels unacceptable.

We take full responsibility for this decision. We tried to do what we thought was best, but we clearly made the wrong call here. We are human and sometimes we get it wrong and for that, we truly apologize.

Lots of hidden costs

Their so-called “lifelong” warranty is misleading. When something breaks, they charge you 20 euros for shipping, which basically covers their own costs. On top of that, returning an item costs 17 euros. It’s not worth the hassle or the hidden fees. I’ll never order from this company again.

Just to clarify a bit, the shipping fee connected to our lifetime warranty unfortunately does not cover our actual costs. We ship with express services, usually within 24 hours in the EU and 48 hours to the US, and the real shipping cost for us is often higher than what we charge, especially outside the EU and US. That said, we completely understand how this can feel frustrating from a customer perspective.

When it comes to returns, customers cover the return shipping as we otherwise would need to pay for shipping both ways, transaction fees and often receive a used strap that cannot be resold. These costs add up quickly and we don’t make anything back in those cases.

That being said, we’re genuinely sorry that this wasn’t clear enough and that you’re left disappointed. Our support team is always here to help and if you’d like, please email us at info@wristbuddys.com so we can see if there’s anything we can do to improve this experience for you.

Not a good deal or quality

Pricing and discounts are misleading/false. During Black Friday sale the exact same straps I bought this summer are more expensive even including the discounts. Quality is fine but not impressive for the price.

You’re partly right, prices have gone up, but not because of Black Friday. The price increase happened well before that as we’ve upgraded our straps, improved materials, invested more in development, faster shipping and we now fully cover duties and customs in markets like the US. On top of that, we’ve grown the team to keep service and quality at the level we want. All of this has increased our costs and unfortunately required a price adjustment.

I was very skeptical at first

I was very skeptical at first. Every time I buy something I find on Facebook or Instagram I usually get screwed over. But I am very happy with my rubber strap. I went for the offer of buy two and get a free watch roll. Everything was delivered very quickly and with nice neat packaging.
Is it worth the 130$ price tag for each strap, only time will tell, but for now I'm super happy with it.

Fair resolution so far (awaiting delivery)

I ordered two straps from Wristbuddys during their “20% off when you buy two” promotion. When the parcel reached the UK, DPD asked for an unexpected £68 in import VAT and handling fees, which hadn’t been made clear at checkout — only mentioned in small print on their shipping info page.

After reaching out, Wristbuddys eventually responded, apologised, and offered to refund half of the import charge (£34) as a goodwill gesture. That’s a fair outcome and I appreciate them stepping up to resolve it properly.

I haven’t received the order yet, so I’ll update this review once the straps arrive and I can comment on product quality. So far, customer service has been decent, but import costs should definitely be made clearer for UK buyers.

Since Brexit, shipping to the UK has unfortunately become more complex, and while we wish we could absorb all customs charges, these are government-imposed taxes that we can’t fully control.

That said, we genuinely do our best to be as transparent as possible. With around 6000 orders shipped monthly and only about 8% going to the UK, we try to strike a balance by clearly outlining this information in our shipping terms and FAQ — without overwhelming every part of the site. We also offer solutions there to help mitigate the issue for UK customers.

Offering to cover half of the import fees is our way of showing goodwill and ensuring you’re not left feeling frustrated. In several other countries, we even cover the full cost — but doing that across all regions would mean raising prices for everyone, which is something we’d prefer to avoid.

We hope you understand where we’re coming from, and more than anything, we want every customer to feel 100% satisfied. Once your straps arrive, we’d love to hear what you think — and if there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, just shoot us an email. We’re always happy to help!

i became aware that i received a strap…

i became aware that i received a strap that didnt fit my watch. i explained this to wristbuddy. the anwar was can you use another watch. i dont have another watch i confirmed. but they still avoided to help when i requested to return the strap. it took a week befor they gave me the information i needed to return the strap. After requesting for a week. then when they finally helped me out, i was surprised to discover that a had to pay further 120 kr for return shipping with ups. almost half the prise of the strap. Thats really poor service. ill will not by from wristbuddys again.

First off, we totally understand the frustration when a strap doesn’t fit. That said, we do always offer help in finding a better match, and we’re happy to assist with returns as well. It definitely shouldn’t have taken a week to get you the return info — that’s something we need to improve on and we appreciate you pointing it out.

As for the return shipping, we get that 120 SEK feels like a lot. However, the strap in question cost quite a bit more than that, and we already offer free outbound shipping for every order — something not many small businesses do. If we were to also fully cover return shipping and all handling costs, we’d end up losing about 35 USD per order just on logistics alone, which isn’t sustainable for us as a company.

That said, we’ll keep working on making the process smoother and clearer. And if you ever change your mind and decide to give us another shot, our support team will be ready to help and make things right.
