WAGs is GREAT!

After purchasing a pair of the WAGs, I ended up returning them because they hurt the webbing between my fingers when I wore them. WAGs was a wonderful company to deal with! They immediately responded to my email when I informed them that I would be returning the gloves, and apologized for my dissatisfaction with their product. A couple days after returning the gloves, I received notification from the company that they had received my gloves and my credit card had been credited. It was extremely easy dealing with WAGs.

Stephen- I'm so happy to hear you that you had a good customer service experience. I'm sorry the gloves didn't work out for you. Did the webbing hurt when you wore the gloves or only during certain moves? If it hurt constantly you probably had a size too small. If it was during a position, like downward dog, the positioning guide that came with the gloves gives some tips. Feel free to reach out if there's something more we can do. Paula

WAGS are great!

My WAGS gloves are great! My left wrist and thumb were hurting quite a bit, and I had trouble exercising in certain positions such as downdog or plank. They really take the pressure off of my wrist and thumb. Thanks for a great product! I would highly recommend these for anyone who is having hand or wrist problems.

I’m very happy with my WAGS Ultra gloves, which I wear when using the Pilates reformer. I used to experience excruciating pain in my wrists whenever I had to support my weight with hands on the foot bar. Thank you!

There are 2 problems with the gloves

There are 2 problems with the gloves: the padding does not cover a large enough surface area and the Velcro strap around the wrist is too short - makes it too tight. The concept and density of the padding is great.

Deborah- Which glove did you get the Fusion or the Ultra? The Ultra pad covers more of the hand while the Fusion comes half way up the palm. I'm sorry the Velcro wrist band feels too tight for you but you'll find that it loosens up with wear. Thanks for your review!

My wrists feel way better

My wrists feel way better. When holding a yoga position, I can concentrate on my form now and not my wrists.

Thank you!!

wag support not what I expected

I bought the WAG because I have extreme pain in my right thumb due to arthritis. Although it helped some, after playing 6-7 holes the pain got intense again and I am no longer able to play. I did tell the problem to your "chat", apparently they did not fully comprehend my issues. It is a good product, but not particularly helpful in my circumstance.

Frank-
Just so I understand, did you buy WAGs to use during golfing or during weight bearing exercise?
It sounds as though you have a severe tendinitis (at the least). I would try icing and elevation for 10-15 minutes several times a day and take a break from golf for some healing time. As far as WAGs go if you do weight bearing exercise give it a rest too. If you only golf, I'm sorry to say that WAGs aren't really for golfing so you're trying them in an untested area. Hope this helps. Paula

I bought the WAGS gloves and although they were expensive they were worth it for me. I do a lot of push ups, burpees and variations in my HIIT classes. My wrists were starting to ache. The gloves give me the angle that I need to help those aches. I can grab weights and hold onto most anything with them as well.

Could you please let us know your name so we can look into it? Orders go out 3 times per week so this is very unusual. We'd love to get your gloves off to you or find out if they're lost or what has happened. I hope we can fix it for you! Contact customer service at info@getwags.com or 1-800-606-4577 X1

Exactly What I Needed

I’ve had the cmc joint in both of my thumbs replaced, 2 years apart. After each surgery, I got back to the gym as quickly as possible, but that meant worksouts with some restrictions - especially anything that required weight-bearing on my hands/wrists. I found that the Fusion gloves gave me more support than the gloves I’ve worn in the past, and that they helped me get back to my regular routine more quickly. Love them and will continue to purchase them.

I've ordered 3 pairs of different wags

I've ordered 3 pairs of different wag gloves for different exercise activities. I have basal thumb arthritis and they all have made a big difference in doing different kinds of exercise that require weight bearing on my palms. I gave my first pair a 5 rating but now that I have all 3 and have used all three, I have to give them all a 4. My first pair were the Ultra small: the straps are not long enough to adequately come around my wrists and meet the velcro tabs even though I have small wrists so I have to close them on the fabric slightly and this is ruining the fabric. So the straps need to be a tad longer. My second pair were Fusion small. The straps are the right length but the pads don't extend as far down as the Ultras do on my palms so I've had to try to stretch the gloves downwards to cushion the base of my thumbs when I'm putting pressure on that area; I'm using these gloves in spin classes since I wanted a lighter pair of gloves and ones to use for weights and they provide adequate cushioning but they wouldn't work for yoga. And my third pair are the small Wag Pro. These are good but I have two issues with them, firstly they are harder to get off since the gloves aren't as long as the other two gloves that have straps for wrist support and secondly, the hand opening is a bit large for the size of glove and I have to extend the velcro closure a bit over to secure them properly. For my particular hand problems the Ultra work best as the pad in the palm extends enough to cushion the bottom of my thumbs; I'm tempted to cut the wrist straps off though.
