I had reached out to the WP Beginner team after frustrations with slow performance on a complex membership website running Elementor Pro, WooCommerce, and Events Calendar/Tickets. The team did a great job optimizing pages and I am very happy with the outcome. The one thing I would have liked to have is more guidance on what they actually did and advice on how to adhere to optimization tweaks when creating new content.

Our business website (majestic-concierge.com) went completely dark one day. Our outsourced website management service could not deliver any solutions. Our business website (acgen.com) had been online for years and the theme/content was getting stale. I was doing all the maintenance and adding new material. I didn't feel competent to re-do a whole new site. I looked at several different firms to do a "site refresh" to give us a new more current look and response and chose WPB. The initial requirement meeting went very well. They summarized my needs and I felt very comfortable with their approach. The fixed price was very justifiable . My project manager was super responsive and competent.

The development took ~3 months start to finish; to be fair, most of the delay was due to me taking time to regenerate content.The site launch went very well and the team was responsive.

There were a few instances where WPB did not understand my change requests (particularly with image adjustments), and I ended up fixing myself; in the end not a big deal.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the result.

I want to give WP Beginner Pro Services a huge THANK YOU for the work it did on my website, TelecomBirddogs.com, implementing its Quick Site Launch service. I had developed my site over five years after lots of research with no website experience and only occasional help from a website developer. The site was over built with content information and cumbersome to use and understand.
The WP Beginner Pros took the time to carefully understand the purpose of my site and its market niche, then rebuild the platform for greater efficiency and a higher degree of best practices.
Considering the extensive research I did, I have no doubt that WP Beginner Pro Services cost multiple times less and performed the work with much less effort on my part than anyone else I've ever come across offering website development services.

I chose WPBeginner because they have provided useful information about WordPress for many years. I needed my website cleaned of malware. They were persistent, but the bad guys kept getting in, so WPBeginner designed a new website. The new website is much more up to date than what I had. They were responsive to my suggestions for changes. The whole process took longer than I anticipated and required much back and forth communication to get things resolved, but the WPBeginner staff was persistent and communicated well.

My change to a date format was completed in less than a day. I was pleased with the result, speed of implementation and cost.

The only thing they had to do was create website with my research notes. They said, in beginning of October, that they could do it for $1299 within 30 days. They not only didn't do it within 30 days but what they showed me was a complete mess including the search function not working, requiring the user of the website to use an app on THEIR device to read the research text, missing research text that they had, etc (and I do MEAN ETC..) I am still waiting for a reply from WPBEGINNER for an inquiry I made using their online form 4 days ago, though their form statements mention a 48 hour reply.

It currently appears I have no resource for this mishandled $1299 simple website build

I liked WPBeginner for years as a reliable source to get insights into WordPress and learn more about how to solve all kinds of challenges. Nowadays I feel they took the wrong turn and new posts appear to be more advertising than solutions... Sad!
