Ordered a gift for Christmas through Wowcher. The first hitch was then having to pay a further £5.99 postage to the "merchant" despite the price I paid through Wowcher being stated as a total. I was initially given an "On or before" delivery date of the 12th and recieved nothing so far. After several attempts of contact, one of their colleagues told me this is an estimated date ( not sure how as it literally says on/before, not an estimated date) and that it's actually an 8 day time frame and this is detailed on the email voucher I recieved. Well which is true, the on/before date you display up front to the customer or the 8 day time frame? I took it upon myself to do the legwork of contacting the merchant and Evri themselves (as Wowcher decide it's not really their issue after they've took your money and ask the customer to deal with *their* merchants instead of them doing what they should be doing seeming as the money was paid to Wowcher therefore my contract of sale is with them). The merchant gave a generic " So sorry we'll look into it" response. Evri have confirmed the parcel is lost in their network and unlikely to be delivered at all as it never reached the national hub, let alone anywhere near my address. Yet Wowcher keep giving the same robotic response of "Please don't worry, if it doesn't turn up today we will look into it further". I've already looked into it and the package has been lost! Any decent company would see this as obvious and rectify the issue swiftly. But no, no doubt I'll have to wait for Wowcher and the merchant to go through the motions I've had to with Evri already to confirm what I've already found out and detailed to them, leading to keeping my money over Christmas and not getting the gift I bought in time for Christmas. Completely inept behaviour from what is supposed to be a large, professional company.

So easy to book a voucher for a restaurant massage and everything else you need as a instant gift for Christmas birthdays extra. We as a family and our friends love to use these for a family meal out and a day of pampering at a discount. Great idea for any occasion 😀

Complete scam, keep well clear of these. I paid money for a bed. They keep the money and didn't deliver the bed.

I have been waiting 2 months for a matress I purchased off living social. Emma matress can't locate my order and living social are impossible to contact for a refund. 300e down the drain. Dec 14th Update- still no response or update on where my order is.

I can confirm, that false advertising is the case on that platform. I purchased 10 vouchers on ice rink which were advertised with expiry date 14 December. However, I received vouchers with expiry date 28 November. When I asked tech support for refund or new vouchers with correct expiry date, I got nothing. Only chat bot told me that vouchers already expired and can’t be refunded.
Update: I have already been in touch with your support team. Still no solution. Would be much appreciated if you could elaborate on more details request.

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Obero International Ltd, purchased via a Living Social voucher deal, has been nothing short of shocking and dishonest.
I ordered what was advertised as a 3D LED reindeer light display with timer, waterproof design, and tool-free assembly. What arrived was a cheap, flimsy piece of plastic with no lights, no timer, no assembly parts, and absolutely no resemblance to the product shown online. The promotional images are clearly fake and intentionally misleading regarding size and features.
When I contacted customer service, they insisted I pay for return shipping myself—even though the item was fundamentally misrepresented. Only after I threatened to report them for fraudulent advertising and contacted the platform (LivingSocial/Wowcher) did agree to a refund, but only for the item itself, not for the shipping costs to my house and back and only as a time limited redimeble voucher on their page. As if I'm ever again trusting them.
This is not a simple case of a damaged or low-quality item. This is false advertising. The product does not match the description in any way. I had to escalate the issue multiple times and involve third parties just to get a refund without being charged for their deceit. I have evidence of it all.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this company. They are not trustworthy.
I encourage Living Social to respond publicly and explain how they justify allowing sellers that offer products that bears no relation to its description.
Yes, I have received a voucher with the product value to use again in living social which by no means is a refund. That money is not in my bank account. Also I spent almost the same in shopping costs which have not been refunded. I spent €45.47 to get it to my house and another €10 shipping it back and received a voucher for €36.98.
Do your maths. I've been absolutely scamed by both, seller and Living Social.

I paid for an Autocad software license a week ago. They won't send it to me or reply to emails. Their email box is full, apparently. They sent me a case number - 1676726.

How can they allow scammers to actively just sell on their site? Oh wait…scam in a scam!! Ordered a gift with the list of items that would be delivered when redeeming obviously I am aware not all would be designers but BUT it was Tat that was received, you’re pound shop jobby jewellery. Returned the item at a cost of myself the advised they couldn’t refund. So I’ve lost money on the item itself, sent it back and they can basically sell it on again?! Every time I contact Wowcher I go round in loops and do not get a proper response, other than please give me your order number. Terms and conditions state refund is possible and yet all the companies on here do not accept refunds. This is awful to do especially around Christmas when people are spending money on gifts for people

Avoid this company at all costs. Made an order for 54 pound for a race car which turned out to be for a voucher which expired in 2 weeks. Scam of a company. Avoid. In response to your reply I have emailed, sent a messenger and a whatsapp!
