Worked in this organization. it has good mission and goals. Unfortunately, the management in Ukraine division works on their rules.

I have been sponsoring children with World Vision for 25 years, and I can say that the few pounds I send each month that makes such a difference to their lives is a pleasure to give.

Hi pressure charity sales wanting me to sign up at my door at 9pm at night . So i wrote them an email next day complaining about the pressure on the door step never had a reply back So i cancelled the direct debit straight away and guess want they are constantly ringing about the cancelled debit 01908....... . More concerned about the "MONEY" . I only give to UK charities helping people in the UK . Shamefull lot

I have supported a child in the past and currently support a young girl in Niger
For a small sum each month I hope it will bring some joy and aspirations into her life. World Vision seems a competently managed organisation which provides regular feedback and transmits messages to the child.

Wonderful to hear news of the person I sponsor World Vision has great communication and I receive regular updates.
I feel I am in touch and find writing to the person very easy- I feel loved , appreciated and involved
Would highly recommend anyone to do this - it’s not expensive and makes a huge difference .

After over thirty years of sponsorship I am still excited to receive reports and photographs of “my” children.
World Vision is very good at helping sponsors to maintain contact with their child and to keep us informed of their individual progress and also of the community as a whole.
Over time the use of technology has made it much easier to feel connected and I have really enjoyed the occasional webinars that are so informative about the broader aspects of my sponsorship and also about the projects that take place elsewhere.
However, the very best aspect is that we can see where our children live and get a glimpse into their lives.
So please, I would urge anyone considering sponsoring with World Vision to make the commitment and join a wonderful organisation.

Giving us good information about what needs to be done and what is done. World Vision makes a very big difference in many positive ways to children’s lives and gives them hope for the future. It is so worthwhile supporting these children and their communities.

I have provided a Sponsorship for a number of years with World Vision. The update on progress is welcoming to see where funds are going and the value it brings to a community. I encourage others with the time and funds to donate to those in need.

We are sponsoring our second child with WV and have found their communication and updates really useful. We appreciate their main focus is the work with the children and their families but it is good to have regular contact opportunities. We pray that sponsorship makes a real difference to these children.

I have been sponsoring with WV for 20 years now, firstly with a project in South Africa and now in Uganda. I was fortunate to visit my sponsor child and family in South Africa and have always found the communication and information provided by WV to be helpful and informative. It has been a very rewarding experience to feel that I am able to help in a small way towards improving the well-being of these children and communities.

I have now been sponsoring a child with World Vision for years. World Vision have been excellent from the beginning at explaining how the system works and how to engage with my sponsored child and their community. I have always received regular feedback on progress both of my sponsored child and the community and information on how World Vision is working to help people in the chosen area. It is a great way to feel I am giving something back in a random world where some of us are born to be much more fortunate than others.

I chose a child to sponsor in Albania ten years ago and it has been a rewarding experience. I have received updates and an annual appraisal of her progress and she has written to me with her hopes and aims.
It has been a joy to watch her grow in confidence into a lovely young woman. She plans to go on to study medicine and work in her country to help others.
The project has now been passed on to the local community to carry it forward into the future.
I couldn’t be happier at this outcome.
I have already agreed to continue with sponsorship and chose a child in Nepal. He is 1 year old so I hope it will be a long commitment with more joys to come for all.

I have been sponsoring with WV since 1984. Having lived in various African countries during the 70s and 80s I have seen first hand the difficulties these communities face. WV's approach to the problems, keeping the communities interest to the forefront and not trying to impose solutions has proved enlightened and rewarding. I attended a Tea Party in Edinburgh last year and was delighted to meet other sponsors and learn more about your work. Now that your work is done in Kilimatinde I am looking forward to sponsoring Janifa in Uganda.

I love to help our sponsored girl and her community through World Vision. We have had letters and a video from our sponsored child. It’s so humbling and wonderful to know that we are able to help her have education and a better life! I also bought a goat for my husband for Valentine’s Day and the card arrived on time, it was a wonderful present! World Vision is a great charity, highly recommended.

WorldVision is a fantastic organisation supporting children in third world countries. By sponsoring a child you not only help the child but also support the community where they live. It is wonderful receiving progress reports mainly sent online these days via the sponsors online account. Definitely consider sponsorship a child you won’t regret it.

I have put this off for years for one reason or another but i am really happy i did now the feeling that you are helping a child and her village makes me feel good it’s humbling and exciting and it has enriched my life even after only three weeks please be a sponser you get as much out of it as they do and can watch your child blossom

Being a World Vision child sponsor is something I would recommend to anyone. A little money from the U.K. goes a very long way in the poor areas where World Vision works. It’s really humbling to see my donations have a positive effect on a child’s future, and also on that child’s community. I’ve done this since the 1980s, and I hope to continue as long as I can.

Having spent decades supporting various children the world over, we are finding the joy that we give to the sponsored children soooo satisfying. We see pictures of the children, get updates and send cards and messages to them in return. These days it's even an occasional videos online.
Yes, WV do ask for further contributions, but that's the point, giving aid where you can. If you can't, don't, maybe you'll feel flush another time. Genuine company. Go for it.

This organisation has a very structured plan and seems to make a big difference to the whole community. I love the personal touch of contact with s child from that community and I hope they get more than just financial support back.
