Booked the flight to Bangkok on Qatar Airways with Wbt Travel and surprized the price was cheaper than skyscanner site.

Really disappointed as i got involved with these criminals via Skyscanner and Travel Trolley. I have used Skyscanner many times but not encountered the scam where buy money was taken for Virgin Atlantic tickets in November and no tickets arrived despite some very official locking documentation confirming reservation of the flight. The day before the flight i rang what i thought was Travel Trolly to speak to Preet who sold tickets and was put through. He told me that the payment had gone through but that it had not been completed at reservation stage and the only way we could get on the flight the next day was for the company to refund the money which we had paid and to pay again. The refund unfortunately would take 3 - 5 working days and the new tickets would be with us for 12 noon. In desperation my daughter put this money on her card as the tickets were for two children to avoid the whole family missing out. \yep you guessed it at 12 no tickets and when i rang the reservation number provided by Preet I was told that he no longer worked for the company and had left 4 days after I booked first reservation. I argued that if this was the case how was i put through to Preet and i was asked if the person i spoke with sounded like the person I spoke to back in November. In short from 9:00am until 6pm I was trying to get tickets for my children which apparently had now gone up and the company wanted a further £800 lol not on your life. Eventually this got down to £400 which I still declined and we ended up having to book very expensive tickets again with Virgin which was nearly £2000 and reporting the whole scam to my daughter credit card company to chase back nearly £3000. Just to warn others i noted during calls that each person that called back used numbers from World Best Travel, Travelle, Budget Airline, Travel Trolley. All staff were well aware of this mysterious Preet but have not seen fit to report him avoid these scammers if i had not watched various Rip Off Britain type shows they may have got more just because we were desperate.

They’re not even in the uk.

I can’t even sleep 13 days I was so scared.
