I have experience with quite a few web hosting providers and this is THE WORST BY FAR!
everything is made complicated.
to host an external domain you need their approval which can last for days.
support is slow and inconvenient.
they don't offer transparent prices...
suddenly they ask you to pay what you don't need and even cancelling your hosting is a nightmare.
AVOID AT ANY COST!

W4Y is an ok domain hoster, they don't do anything special. The reason I use them is because they offer the biggest variety of TLDs in Austria (as far as I know).
The only times I have trouble with the domain hosting is when I need to contact the support. And sadly when you want to register a premium domain you cant do it without the support.
And sadly I have to agree with the latest reviews, the support at W4Y is bad at best. They are hard to reach, slow to respond (I scheduled a call back and am waiting for a month now?!), email was faster but still, curtain mails wont get an answer and you have to at least wait 2 days for any answer.
When I called and requested support they were unfriendly, and once even hostile toward me.
I had my fare share of troubles regarding their email "service".
They only do the barest minimum. And it seems that the support isn't trained enough, often they did not understand the questions I had, and sometimes they gave incorrect answers.
One major no no for me was, that anyone who has access ton an email account is able to write emails as anyone else!
So I can send emails as someone else without their permission, no Password required.
All in all, I am replacing them part by part. and wont recommend them to anyone.
This company is not good from my expirience. I got today a fine to pay because they are doing a bad support work. They are not doing a good work. Go somewhere else for your hosting...
Cheap and sufficient if you are a small local page. But do stay away if you have anything more than an info page for Austria!
I have a few pages registered there and now just had my 2nd major incident that was handled extremely poorly.
On one page we have a learning system with user data. In Jan 2018 W4Y had some server crash and our user data, payment data, learning progress of an entire month was all gone. Double Hosting didn't help since the same bug got copied on both servers. Spent a month trying to find out who was a paying customer and who not and stitch the pieces together. Nightmare. Their insurance covered our outside cost. But I spent 3 weeks on this and lost a lot of customer data. We migrated to another provider for this page.
I kept another page there, because it was for information only, no data storage. Now, in Jan 2019, users from multiple countries reported a 403 error, all of India, Brazil and half a dozen more which are about 50% of the target group of this NGO page. My other pages were working so I didn't suspect the problem to be on W4Y and spend 3 weeks (with the page not accessible) with research, IT department, lawyers and authorities in various countries because we thought we were blocked by them. Turns out W4Y had taken "temporary security measures". On request about why on earth I wasn't notified I get a "sorry, normally we do". This has again cost me so many resources over those 3 weeks that I decided that this time I need to share this also with the community here to protect others from similar experiences.
should have been more forthcoming regarding the expiration notice of a domain registration.
