Work for Impact is an outsourcing and job-seeking solutions platform for environmentally and socially responsible business/organizations and freelancers—and a community of people with similar values and questions searching for a network where thoughts and ideas are respectfully discussed and meaningful connections are established. I joined in 2019, and through them I’ve received support from the WFI team, a long-term work assignment, and social/networking outlet I much appreciate. Helpful resources are immediately available, even if a job assignment may (or may not) take a little longer.

I am starting to dive into WFI and I'm very excited for the prospect of getting opportunities to contribute and serve from my knowledge and personal features to companies and projects that are purpose-driven.
And even though I'm a "newbie" here, Flora has been already by my side guiding me and giving helpful insights.

I wanted to share my experience regarding a recent application I submitted on this platform. I came across the Content Moderation Specialist position and applied, confident that my three years of experience in content moderation and four years as a Quality Assurance Analyst in content moderation would set me apart. My expertise in reviewing content, identifying issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance aligns well with the role’s requirements.

However, despite my qualifications, my application was rejected without any explanation or attempt to connect with me. It’s disappointing to be dismissed without an opportunity to showcase my skills and experience.

This experience has been frustrating, but it serves as a reminder never judge a book by its cover. But this website judge the book already without even tryin to connect .I hope companies take the time to assess candidates fairly and provide constructive feedback in the future.
