Purchased the iCrowbar to remove passwords from Excel files. After the purchase downloaded the software and all seems ok until you try your first file. It forces you to purchase to unlock the file. It seems like a big scam. Contacted support. No answer. Pffffff.
Update: after pointing out EU law where a consumer has the right to return the product/service without any given reason within 14 days, I received a refund. Still all very disappointing. Be careful with this company where you sign up for.

Thanks CHLOE for your prompt, attentive customer service. I’m not a fan of auto-renew subscriptions but had missed the recent cancellation deadline by a day this year. However, Chloe responded very quickly when I contacted the company, acknowledging my own error for not checking but requesting, if possible, a refund. Although, I wasn’t offered a full refund, I was offered an acceptable goodwill gesture that has just arrived in my account only a couple of hours after I’d accepted her offer. Whilst the error was mine, I do appreciate the quality, prompt and professional customer service offered by Chloe on behalf of the company. Thanks.
