Didn't meet expectations

Misleading (same day shipment promise) and poor communication. I ordered items that appeared to be in stock and made sure to order before 11:00 pm to get their (same say shipment) advantage, but 3 days passed without hearing from them. Only when I followed up they replied the next day sating one item is not in stock and it takes a month for it to be available!!!!!

Update: I received the shipment after customer service cancelled the item that caused the delay.

False shipping promises and terrible communication

Similar to other experiences people have had they do not hold their shipping standards up. I triple checked everything I ordered was available so that it could be shipped same day as they advertise because I needed supplies ASAP. My order made on the 19th and it is currently the 24th and it still has not been shipped. Sent an email on the 22nd and got no response so I resent it after putting it through Google Translate on the 23rd and got a response within a few hours. They claim to have such a bad delay with emails but getting a quick response in Dutch but not in English doesn’t sit right with me. I get told then one of the colors of yarn I ordered had a dye lot mix up and they had to make a new order so they will ship my order on the 28th. They claim on their website they will contact in situations such as this but I wouldn’t have known this unless I contacted them. Abysmal communication and false promises. Had they at least reached out to at least find a solution and give options I would’ve been happy and grateful because mix up’s and mistakes can happen, it’s how you react to such mistakes that shows what terrible business practices this place has. Now I’m annoyed I’m stuck with this as other options would take longer which is why I chose this website but had I known they’d take this long I would’ve ordered from other websites from the beginning and still gotten my order sooner because at least they’re clear and consistent. Do not recommend at all!

Update: it is now February 2nd, they didn’t ship my order on the 28th like they said so I once again had to email and emailed on the 30th and got a response today that now another item in my order was out of stock. It seems like if you don’t email they’ll never let you know of this and the date they now told me is the 13th of February. I chose them because I expected my order on the 20th of January. The fact they think it’s acceptable to have a near month delay without communication is a sign of how bad their service is, once again I truly do not recommend this website and I will never order again even if they have items I can’t find elsewhere. I’d rather order from the other side from the world if they at least ship it on time and communicate better.

You are absolutely right to expect clear communication and timely shipping, especially when items are shown as in stock and same-day dispatch is advertised. In your case, we did not communicate clearly enough, and I understand why this feels disappointing and unfair.

At this moment, I don’t yet have full visibility on the current status of your order. I have asked my colleagues in logistics and customer service to look into what exactly happened, including the stock issue you were informed about and why this was not communicated proactively.

I also want to address your point about response times in English versus Dutch. Even when we experience delays, this should never result in inconsistent or confusing communication. I understand how that came across, and I’m sorry for that.

I will personally follow up on this and get back to you as soon as I have a clear and complete update, so we can discuss the best next step or a suitable solution together.

Thank you for your patience, and again, my sincere apologies for how this has been handled so far.

Ordered Safety Eyes

Ordered Safety Eyes online and they came in perfect condition. It sounds silly but I've tried 3 stores where they came damaged, broken, chipped, etc. Very happy to find a new supplier.
