It's definitely worth investing in if you find you are falling behind in classes or just need an extra bit of help during exam season!

I have been using this service for a year and saw a dramatic increase in my academic performance. Wizeprep helped explain every concept I see in class in much more clear and simple way as well as providing over a hundred of practice exercises with video solutions in which the tutor will go over it step by step. Wizeprep makes possible to understand what is going on in your course and to be up to date with everything. I use this service for my science classes such as chemistry , math and physics which I am usually bad at but thanks to this service I actively participate in class and get good grades. Wizeprep is super helpful when you're trying to catch up on materials quickly. What I find most helpful is the material they offer for regular studying of class content. Content is taught through short and concise videos that summarize the things that professors teach and walk you through examples. This makes it really easy to skip past the fluff and get to the important stuff to help you actually solve problems. This is also supported by practice questions that you can use to gauge your understanding of the materials as you follow along. Sometimes their materials don't completely line up with what the professor will cover, so you'll need to compare the Wizeprep content with your prof's content to make sure you account for the stuff Wizeprep might not have, but in the end, I've found that Wizeprep saves me time because they condense down the professor's long lectures into a much more digestible format and it's much more manageable to only have to review a few parts of the prof's notes instead of all of it.

Firstly, I really liked that Wizeprep had an online course style study method. This made it so much easier for me, as I could just watch these and not attend my lectures. I specially used them for McMaster MATH 1ZA3, MATH 1ZC3 and PHYS 1D03. What I did wish was that the instructors would go into many more examples. I feel that would’ve allowed greater practice overall. I also liked the comments feature where you could get a message back from the instructor for help. What I did wish was included was the ability to have a weekly online session, where you could chat with the instructor on a call and discuss specific problems. What I did find some what annoying was the prep session for tests and exams. I felt, that in comparison to the prep sessions offered by prep101, that these seemed much less polished.

When I was struggling with my first year courses, I was able to use wizeprep to catch up on lectures and prepare for my exams. Wizeprep’s CIV100 (mechanics) course explains all the course concepts extremely well and provides practice problems which were very similar to the exams I took in class.

Wizepreps pricing is also fairly reasonable in comparison to other prep websites, and they provide free and paid content which allowed me to try the site before I made any purchase.

I used Wizeprep services for two classes; COMM 225 (Production & Operations Management) and COMM 305 (Managerial Accounting). I think both were classes that are typically the ones Wizeprep can be very helpful for, because they involve complex quantitative processes that I always struggle to deal with on my own, only using the resources provided by the professors (usually just lectures and textbooks). Typically, they are classes where most of the weight of the grading goes to exams, which is why I am always so relieved to discover that the exam prep sessions are always so helpful, even if you are behind on the weekly material. I found that the most helpful feature was the live prep with John K. I definitely would use it again, maybe for a finance class this time!

I have personal used Wizeprep during my second year at UBC. I was able to manage the hardest classes that most students struggle with, COMM294, COMM295 and COMM298 thanks to Wizeprep. The instructors are Wizeprep organize the content in a way that is concise, easy to follow and so much easier to understand. Further, there are comprehensive practice problems with answers that help you grasp the basic concept but as well as training yourself to answer an exam-styled question! It saves you so much time doing Wizeprep than going through all the lecture slides. Without Wizeprep, my grade would have been much worse.

I used Wizeprep for my Calculus I and Linear Algebra courses last semester. Wizeprep is a great site that has short videos directly related to the course content at my school. I found these videos incredibly useful both because of how concise the videos are and because of how well structured they are. Each video has short but effective descriptions of different terms and all applicable formulas are outlined in boxes. Each informational video is then followed by a video example to reinforce the course content. Wizeprep even includes additional practice problems to try on your own and has video explanations available if you are having difficulties completing a question.

Wizeprep also lets you ask questions related to each topic, which will be answered by the course instructor in a timely manner--you can even choose to ask questions anonymously. Any question you ask and the answer given will be available for other students to view. I found this a useful feature because I would sometimes have a question and it would have already been asked and answered by the instructor.

Wizeprep has many other great facets, including mock tests and exams that I am excited to try out! Overall, Wizeprep has been an incredible study tool for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for extra help with their courses. Wizeprep has very short Video Lessons to make each the learning process underwhelming and as entertaining as possible. They also give to access to very affordable practice problems (only about 15 CAD)! When I used Wizeprep last semester for my Chemistry course (CHM 1311). I learnt so much and the tutor explained everything so well. I am currently using Wizeprep to prepare for upcoming Calculus Midterm and I recommend.

I've used Wizeprep for 5+ courses over the past year. I've found the pre exam videos to be particularly helpful, however, the on demand prep materials are not entirely precise. This is understandable considering it's a third party website, but frequent updates to the materials based on that semesters syllabus would especially help! Sometimes the videos are not uploaded on time or the theoretical content differs from what we're actually learning in school. Double checking the content from 2 places can be even more time consuming than self studying at times, but overall I would definitely recommend Wizeprep to someone looking to increase their grades/understand practical concepts better and gain practice!

I’m writing about my experience with the physics and biology materials at Western University. The content of these videos is not directly related to our specific course material, particularly in biology. They cover many topics that are not included in our curriculum. In physics, the explanations are superficial; they don't delve into complex topics that require practice. They present simple examples, which are insufficient for thorough understanding. As I mentioned, there are significant gaps between the material explained in the videos and what is included in our course content. The videos often discuss topics that are unlikely to appear in our exams and include many unrelated and unhelpful elements, with only a small portion of useful and relevant material

Wize has been extremely helpful for me when starting to study for the MCAT. Before I bought Wize, I was very overwhelmed and I knew that there was so much content I had to go through, and Wize has organized the class very well and I love the bite-size video format and keeping concepts concise so that I know exactly what to focus on instead of wasting my time going in-depth in concepts that are super unlikely to even show up on the MCAT. One other thing I love about the video format is that it is a lot easier for me to pay attention instead of super long modules. I debated a lot about what resources to use for the MCAT and I am glad I did not choose another course or go with textbooks because first of all, the pricing is super affordable, and there are the class professors always ready to help you. I learned more from gaining useful context from the videos than I would be from trying to read a paragraph from a textbook over and over - it's just not my preferred way of learning. I really appreciate the one-on-one approach that Wize offers, because they are here to support you from the time you sign up all the way to the end! I am very excited to keep having calls with Wize to help steer me in the right direction and keep me motivated to study smarter.
