Help. Is anyone else having trouble with their device and it's being blamed on you? I've complained several times and they say it's my breathing technique. The device turned itself on while I was driving and it seemed at me that it failed. It also says I've missed tests and it doesn't register my breaths at all and I get through a 4 second blow and it tells me to blow harder or blow longer. I email the company for documentation but they always blame me. The company even sent me an email that Said I had a payment due when I paid it in full before installation and after letting them know they Saud they would take care of it and didn't so I got another email that Saud that my car wouldn't start if I didn't pay. WTF?!?! THIS IS ONGOING SINCE JULY. PEOPLE... DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY

NFS Fees added

I had my account setup as autopay for a year and never had any issues. My last month before removing the device, I'm hit with a nfs fee. I tried reaching out to get this removed as my card is still valid and expiration date is in over a year and have enough funds to cover this amount. They said they cannot remove this $35 fee and I will have to pay it to get my device even removed. That is so crooked to just add any fee they please.

ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN!

My experience with this company is not a good one, and in fact has been nothing but problems! This is the absolute WORST I've had and almost miss lifesafer (I loathe them) and it looks like I'll be risking having car problems for intoxalock. I was referred to Draeger by a tech that installed INTOXALOCK and LIFESAFER devices, and told me about the horrors of both. In addition to my personal experience with lifesafer. I work at a dealership and we currently have 4 vehicles stuck there with intoxalock handsets on them and nobody can figure out what's wrong. What's funny is I'm not writing this because 1. My installation was a disaster. After driving a half hour to pick my car up, not once but twice, because the first time the tech had no idea what he was doing. Walking in, I was mortified to see my vehicle wires out, him scrambling on the phone (trying to figure out what to do) and looking lost. I just left to keep myself from going off. Or 2. the next day my car wouldn't start (when I was told installation was complete) the manager Michelle was there and had to drive me home due to the tech messing up (I missed the rest of my work day) after siting there for at least a half hour trying to get my car started. The REASON BEING is because of the hair trigger PANIC MODE your car goes into if your "inhale" on a test (while driving) isn't done fast enough. And what I mean is, when you're driving and the device prompts you to blow you do until it beeps and the immediately INHALE! Now if you miss this by a millisecond you car goes into full on PANIC MODE and your horn starts beeping and your lights start flashing (WHILE DRIVING) and you have to now pay attention to the road, ONE had on the wheel, ONE hand on the handset to press "ok" to retest because all you want is for this loud distracting noise to just STOP, this car alarm going off to just be quiet, while reassuring other drivers (and sometimes police) that everything is OK and it's just your IID. HOW. IS.THIS.SAFE????? HOW?? My first time driving it, a little old lady was coming from the opposite direction swerved and almost ran into me because it scared the crap out of her! It's abrupt, it's distracting for EVERYONE on the road. And to top it off, it's a pointless, shame driven, purely done in vanity feature. What purpose does it serve to make your vehicle a rolling spectacle due to not INHALING fast enough? Not for alcohol detection, not because you had previous failed attempts (all the other companies give you several attempts and only flash lights before becoming a rolling alarm system), JUST because you lagged in inhalation. IT'S INSANE and this company isn't going to like it when they're the reason for someone getting into a accident and being mortally wounded, or WORSE! Who's idea was this? That would literally trigger someone depending on their mental state WHILE DRIVING! Cause a straight heart attack (because it's so abrupt and out of nowhere) WHILE DRIVING! Being a distraction to everyone around you WHILE DRIVING! I literally REFUSE to take my car anywhere where there are hwys, too many stop lights, or drive thru's. It's soo loud and obnoxious. I've had to pull my car over each time just to concentrate on blowing so this noise will JUST STOP! AND as a person that suffers from PTSD I can imagine it get's under my skin just that much more! It causes the driver to have anxiety, and feel nervousness when for some, driving is already stressful! Why would they THINK this is OK?! AND when I asked and compared them to what happens with other companies, the response I get is "because the State of Wisconsin said so". Well that's not what our certified techs did for lifesafer and intoxalock. They were smart and would tell whoever did the job to not hook their horns up to that thing. At least they understood how bad that could be for a driver. Oh, and the state of Wisconsin rep told me it's up to the company. So just as I did with LS I'm recording these and have a hwy situation, where at 75 mph, I had to pull over on the shoulder to turn my car off and on again due to the stolen car alarm flashing light situation midday. The second one around 5pm on a busy street, due to 1st inhalation fail setting off the alarm, did it again, I passed the test but I still wouldn't go off and after the third try..done! And this past Friday. When I pulled into my parking space and it didn't like the inhale so it started going off, I just turned my car off. Enough already! I'll just except the "violation" because my sanity is worth more. Nobody should be under THAT much stress behind a wheel! They get 1 star because Michelle was helping anyway she could within her capacity as a manager, and that was appreciated. If they took away that one feature...they'd be the best one! Unfortunately that risk factor takes them ALL the way down to a negative 5 stars, just for putting lives in danger.

I made an appointment with Wisconsin…

I made an appointment with Wisconsin Ignition Interlock on 12-24-19 (I was surprised they were open!); the lady I made my 12-26-19 IID installation with was VERY nice to me. She told me that one of their technicians had used up all his vacation earlier in the year, and had to work on Thursday, 12-26-19. So I informed my employer that I'd be in late on 12-26. Thursday comes around, and we're about to drive to Green Bay to get the IID installed, when my phone rings at 8:05 (my appointment was for 9:30) and I'm informed that my appointment is cancelled because said technician^^ has called in sick!! Oh wow, I was so mad and disappointed because I had a court date on 12-30-19 because of my charge(s) of operating after revocation, and failure to install an IID, and needed to have the IID to get my driver's license back. I ended up calling Intoxalock and got the IID installed on Friday 12-27. I wouldn't recommend Wisconsin Ignition Interlock at all; they had taken my initial $110 immediately on 12-26, shouldn't I expect that the service I paid for would be provided?!?! I demanded my money back, and that no future monies would be removed from my bank account. I received a paper check reimbursement the following week. This was one experience I do not want to have to go through ever again.
