I can't withdraw my money. I deposited to wirex 2000€ and made litecoin withdrawal. It was declined twice. Then I tried to withdraw to my bank account and it was declined too. After that I tried to make online purchase, declined! Scammers be aware! They don't want to give me acces to cash out my own funds. I really don't recommend!

They locked my account because I went on holidays for 3 weeks. They wanted me to re- submit my documents and prove ID and address. After I have done that they said it was fine, but my account is still locked. For many weeks now they block me with no reason explained. Several issues raised with tickets with no useful response. Not reliable service. Any time u can be locked out with no help and funds access.

It started off well with the simplicity of buying cryptocurrency but then transferring my cryptocurrency into an external wallet seemed problematic.
A lot of questions that should have been asked before approving my account was not asked and only asked when it came to transferring my own cryptocurrency.
I don't think that I'll be recommending wirex to my friends for cryptocurrency purchases.

I’ve been using Wirex since 2024, regularly depositing and investing through their app. Out of nowhere, they restricted and then closed my account, sending two completely contradictory emails — one saying my account was “temporarily restricted until 31/12/9999” and another saying it was closed and I should withdraw my funds.
The problem? They blocked my access completely, so I can’t even withdraw my own money. Their support team has been useless, constantly apologising but offering no real help. I’ve now had to escalate the case to the Financial Ombudsman because Wirex has trapped my funds with no explanation.
Absolutely disgraceful treatment for a loyal customer — avoid Wirex at all costs!

It has been over four months since 02/07/2025, when I attempted to withdraw EUR 500 using my Wirex card ending in 2136 at the Société Générale Cyprus Bank ATM in Limassol, Cyprus. Although the transaction was authorized and the PIN accepted, the ATM failed to dispense the cash. Nevertheless, as shown in the attached screenshot and confirmed within my Wirex account, the amount was debited. The ATM area is monitored by cameras, which can readily verify the incident.
I immediately reported the issue to the Wirex team (case ref.: 618803) and filed a complaint (WCC128973). However, more than four months have passed, and the case remains unresolved, with the funds never reimbursed to my account. What is most frustrating is the complete lack of meaningful updates regarding the progress of the case, despite the multiple follow-up emails I have sent.
Initially, I was provided with a resolution timeframe of 60–90 days. We are now well beyond that period. I have been in the financial services industry for 17 years, and this is the first time I have encountered such an unprofessional level of customer service. For over three months since escalating the case, the only responses I have received are vague statements that there are “no updates from the relevant department so far.” Three months with no progress is simply unacceptable.
I am genuinely at a loss for words to describe the level of service and responsiveness I have experienced. Given the prolonged delay and repeated failures to resolve this matter, I now request immediate reimbursement of EUR 500, along with the transaction fee of EUR 5.42, and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and wasted time.
I urge Wirex to treat this as urgent and provide a clear resolution timeline.

They will charge you a really huge amount of fee if you will not be active for several months in a row, and they will never send you a notification email before taking your money, I highly don’t recommend this company for investment… Almost 10k per month and you will find your self without nothing left…

My experience with Wirex has been nothing short of catastrophic. When I faced an urgent issue I reached out repeatedly for help — and was met with silence and ignorance. Emails marked urgent went unanswered for days, sometimes weeks. When responses finally came, they were generic, robotic, and completely useless. No understanding, no empathy, and absolutely no urgency — just a wall of indifference. For a company handling people’s money, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Wirex has shown zero accountability, zero transparency, and zero respect for its customers. I’ve never felt so powerless dealing with a financial service. This company has failed its customers in every possible way in my opinion and I am currently looking at ways to make them responsible for their actions...

Hello, I'm a client of Wirex more than 3 years, but my account has been restricted without any clear explanation. I contacted support on October 7th (Request ID #6250535), and they told me my case was forwarded to the relevant department. However, it has been more than a week, and I haven’t received any update or follow-up.
There’s money on my account, and I simply want to understand what’s happening and how to regain access to my funds. I’ve already tried contacting support again on October 15th, but still no response.
This kind of silence is unacceptable for a financial service. Please review my case urgently and restore my account access.
Upd: it was solved during 1 month.

I ordered the physical card for which I paid 5 euros. They told me it would arrive in 3 weeks at most. Since then, 9 weeks have passed and it hasn't arrived. I contacted them and they replied that it was sent to check with the postal factor. I checked and received a reply that nothing like that had arrived at them and that the package should have had a tracking number. From this I deduced that it wasn't sent. Liars.

Scamming company, my account was closed without any reason, the website was not working correctly, I told them that they have a bad code because I'm a programmer. For example they were only showing 20 cards on cards page without a "show more cards button" if you had more than 20, I helped them with finding the bug in the code, and in exchange they just closed my business account and froze every card. Then I had multiple transactions that were refunded, and credited to my balance, but my balance wasn't updated it was showing 0 all the time, I've waited for 3 months for an answer from this "business support" that is absolutely garbage. They just told me that refunds were processed back which is a lie, the money are visible in my statement: Currency: DAI
Opening: 850.37
Credited: 3435.33
Debited: 0
Closing: 0
As you can see, 3435.33$ were credited to my DAI balance and they refuse to give me my money back.
Lost 3435.33$ because of this company. I will take legal actions against these fraudsters. DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNT HERE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND IGNORE YOU FOR ETERNITY!
UPD: Still no response, why did you send the request to locate my account the email and not in response? My account name is same here and in wirex, you could see that but you're too lazy to do this.

Online card works fine. Trying to order a physical card will drive you insane. Customer support is a joke. Cut & paste help guide to your query and dont take ownership or responsibility their app is limited and does not support the instructions they send you. My recommendation to anyone considering this, is to choose another wallet provider.

Have a Wirex now for a few months. Can be a little difficult to set up, but you must understand that Wirex have to operate within the Law of finance. The multi currency card is great for traveling. i recommend Wirex 100%
