Poor Customer Service - Keep Well Away

I took my laptop to this shop as it kept bringing up multiple error messages saying that windows needs to restart etc only to bring up the same error message again after doing it all. A few weeks earlier I had taken it somewhere else near my home. As I had used them before I gave the laptop to them again together with the charger. They did not keep me informed in terms of when it would be ready so I went back on 27/07/2025 and it was ready. I took the laptop home (without the charger) and only realised on Sunday that I did not have the charger so I sent them a text message but got no response went back on 29/07/2025. The guy behind the manager (not the manager) refused to accept that I given them the charger saying they have a universal one so don't accept chargers from customers. I told him that this did not mean that I had not left it with the laptop and that I was not asked to take back teh charge when I left the laptop telling him to check the shop's CCTV cameras. He said he would but couldn't check it straight away. He then put me on the phone to his manager who said that I should prove that I left it with me again saying he should the charger. He then insinuated that I was wrong in thinking that I had left the laptop charge and when I was adamant that I did leave it with the charge he said that I was God so know everything making me even more upset with him. He said he would check the cameras before saying that he wanted to maintain our relationship and my custom and that he would give me a replacement charge the next day as he has loads of them. I then asked the guy in the shop to take my number so that he can call me. He pointed to my details on a whiteboard (paper sheet) saying he had my number. When I dropped off the laptop I also asked if he could check the price of the laptop case (which was damaged from before) and he said he would look into it and get back to me. I asked him whether he had looked into it and he said he had looked into it the day that I dropped off the laptop and had already told he couldn't find one. I then went back in on 30/07/2025 when they were supposed to give me the charge asking why he had not called me asking me to pick up the charger (saying also that whilst the laptop was working it was still bringing up that error message so not fully repaired) he said he had never said he would call me. This blatant lying was the final nail in the coffin. I then asked for an invoice which they sent several days later which doesn't look anything like an invoice and was not clear in terms of what they had actually fixed. I told the guy behind the counter that I would be leaving a bad review as I didn't trust them anymore and maybe that is the only way they are going to learn from this experience of arguing with customers with legitimate complaints. I am also considering reporting them to trading standards. I believe they either picked up my charge and put it to one side (then lost it), someone walked off with it or they gave it someone else by mistake and then simply denied ever recieving it. He called his manager who told him to give me a charger but the damage had already been done in that I had already ordered a charger from Amazon which was delivered the very next day. I have now ordered a new laptop from Very when this could have been from them. I haven't yet asked for refund and not sure they would provide it but at least I now have a reliable laptop. It wasn't just them losing my laptop but I also had a screw missing meaning that one of the laptop parts kept falling out and they said they did not keep spare screws as all laptops were different and had different sized screws (despite being a repair shop) but I know this was not true as I was able to order one online where they come in a variety of sizes including multiple sizes bought together. It is a shame as the previous guy behind the counter was good.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Asked them to replace a cracked Motorola screen. They have butchered it and replaced with a screen that didn't work, so I can't use the phone. They then promised they would fix it several times over two weeks and every time I came to pick it up they said they still had to order the new screen or hadn't done it yet or they were given a fake screen by their supplier. They consistently said it would definitely be ready for a day and time and then I'd get there and theyd ask for another few days even if I phoned to check beforehand (theyd promise it would be fixed by X o'clock). Terrible communication.

Then they told me that I should have given them my password to my phone or they could not check the screen and if it worked despite them saying they knew the screen would not work. They said everyone gives them their passwords and I should not worry about it and they had never heard of anyone not wanting to give their password.

They changed the screen three times to three knock-off non working screens. After two weeks they then said it would be another 5 days after me coming in so many times, cancelling trips to collect the phone each time they said it was ready. They never put anything in writing e.g. by text or email despite promising to, and claimed they didn't have internet in order to email confirmation. After two weeks, countless hours and cancelled trips they told me it would be ready for 3pm. Then 5pm. Then I got there at 5.45pm and it still wasn't done and would not be done.

And they initially refused to give me a refund when I told them again that I could not wait a further 5 days as was leaving the city that day. They tried to say I should not get a refund because it technically had the awful screen that didn't work that they'd originally put on. Eventually gave me a refund for that though not the screen protector but I'm out two weeks, they butchered the phone screen and done a really bad job according to the shop I've since gone to. I'm really shocked and disappointed by the service as in the past they were ok. But the constant lying on when the phone was ready and broken promises and refusal to ever put any promises in writing have been really disappointing.

Went to them on 6th December 23

Went to them on 6th December 23, for them to fit a new battery on my Macbook, the battery that they fitted was faulty, so got them to fit another battery that was also faulty just lost power and cut out completely,

found out that they use cheap copy batteries and because the batteries were the wrong ones that they fitted, my Macbook has a bolge and is completely out of line,
All I can say is that they are complete Cowboys.

Absolutely fantastic service as always

Absolutely fantastic service as always. They fixed my laptop hinge today. It broke a year ago and curreys quote me loads of money and said I needed to basically replace the laptop, took it to them and they said they could replace it but if I wanted they could just put in a scew.. they did that for free and I got another year out of my laptop. Now it has broken and they fixed it in 45 minutes for £65. Far better than replacing the laptop, cheaper and quicker than I expected. They are the best repairs shop I've come across in London.

No receipt for cash payment

I went to Wireless Vision in Merton High Street in November to get a phone screen replaced. I was offered two options - an original Samsung screen and a copy one. The latter was somewhat cheaper, so I decided to go for it. The total amount paid was 75 pounds. I paid 70 in cash and the remaining 5 with a bank card. When I asked for a receipt, I was told that I would receive it electronically. The receipt for 5 pounds arrived shortly, but not for 70. A few days later, I went back for the receipt and was given a sheet of paper with a printed logo and some text, with no stamps, signatures, or any official proof of transactions (wish I could attach a photo here). I obviously was unhappy and then the shop assistant produced a different variation of the same "document" - something you can easily make yourself at home and something that, obviously, has no value and no relation to accounting. I was also advised that this is what customers usually receive for cash payments, and there is no other form of documents to certify payments.

Meanwhile, the screen is not working properly - the touch screen option is no longer active (I was advised to restart the phone, but it didn't help), there is some flashing, and the phone battery life has decreased significantly.

Needless to say, I don't recommend this place.

Iphone screen fix

Popped to this shop on a whim hoping I could book in a repair for my smashed screen on my Iphone 7. The guy ended up doing it there and then and for a reasonable price. Got a new shock proof case so it didn't happen again. Great little place just past the station.
