Italy is one of my favourite countries and this was a new thing to try whilst visiting. Had a great time on the truffle hunting tour which fun, authentic and of course delicious.
Our Tour of the Uco Valley was terrific. Our guide, Lujan was wonderful. Kind, considerate, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She designed a perfect visit to a high end winery, Michel Roland’s Diam... See more

Can't recommend enough!
Everything was great! Our host, Annabela, went out of her way to make sure everyone was enjoying the trip. There was a wide variety of experiences (Portuguese lunch, wine tasting, and river boat), making it a great way to spend a day!

A really fun and informative outing
A really fun and informative outing. We had the opportunity to taste several wines and ports, plus olive oil and honey. The lunch included was good and in a very nice setting. Loved the Duoro River cruise - just the right length to get the flavor of the area and see some beautiful scenery. I felt the value for the money was definitely there. Our guide knew a lot about the area and wines/port.
I would like to see a mandatory policy regarding sick people and that they wear a surgical mask on the tour. Participants are in a closed van in very close quarters with each other for several hours. One individual on the tour had a cold and despite me wearing a mask (He didn't) when I was close to him I ended up getting sick which impacted the last two days of my trip.

We booked a full day tour of the Douro…
We booked a full day tour of the Douro Valley through winerist. We had a wonderful day. Our guide was engaging and personable and we enjoyed the wineries we visited. Our tour included lunch and a ride on the Douro River. We were very happy with the tour and would not hesitate to book with Winerist again.

Amazing
The tour with Living tours was awesome! They were on time, the bus was clean, the guide Tiago, was great, gave us a lot of information and was hilarious. Recommend 100%!

A grand day out
It was a good trip, well organised, plenty of good food to eat & port to taste.
Due to heavy rain in the morning we did miss some of the views on the way out but we chose to go this day because it wasn’t so ☀️ .

Great Experience!
We had such a heat experience with Winerist! We tried to book a wine tour last minute and they helped us to find great alternative day / time. Communication was great for booking process, so helpful. The tour itself was with a partner company (A La Francaise) and it was wonderful! We did a wine tour in Chateau Neuf de Pape. Wine was great and our guide (Sylvia) made the afternoon increíble with her amazing knowledge of the area, history, and the wines. Highly recommend!

Overall a good tour
Overall a good tour. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and considerate. The scenery and wineries were beautiful. Our major disappointment was that the river cruise wasn’t in a rabelo as advertised.

A winery tour that delivers full value and more!
We had a great experience with Emmanuel. We hired him to pick up and drop us off as we were staying out of town. I highly recommend this. He was knowledgeable about history, attractions and of course the wineries we visited. He had great rapport with all the wineries and we visited vineyards, tasted wine directly from the cask, and learned a great deal about the wine making process. It was a perfect day.

A wine experience you won’t forget!
What an amazing experience with such a personable and knowledgeable guide. Lieze made us feel so comfortable from the detailed emails to prepare to greeting her on the day. Her attention to detail and ability to execute our preferences was astounding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for personalized, authentic wine tour experience… you won’t regret it!

The tour was good
The tour was good, the vehicle was comfortable clean and air-conditioned. Our guide was very nice, I would have liked to have heard more about wine production in the regions. I was disappointed with the choice of one of the wineries, it seemed very touristy and set up touch. Was wonderful to visit to Chateauneuf du Pape

One-of-a-kind Tour!
What an amazing experience! It was difficult to find a wine tour that included grape picking & stomping and this tour exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, Antonio, was charismatic, informative and just lovely to spend a day with. He told us about the history of the Douro Valley, how and why different grapes are grown in the valley and tons of info on wine. He was also willing to share about modern Portugesse culture and the people.
The tour had a variety of tasty wine and the meal was an extravagant 5 course meal including different traditional Portugesse foods. Vegetation options were available, but you would be missing out on many delicious meat dishes.
The grape picking and stomping was accompanied by accordion playing and sun protective hats (now souvenirs) were provided. The tour ended with a drive through the gorgeous Duoro Valley and a short, but relaxing boat tour.
Overall, amazing tour and experience!

Champagne tour
Great private tour. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. They also accommodated a special request for a picnic rather than the usual lunch. The setting for it was lovely, just what I needed to propose to my girlfriend. And she said yes!

not as expected
I specifically requested the tour "Full-Day-Beaujolais-Wine-Tour", which will start in the south of Beaujolais. However, our tour guide took us to the tiny wineries in the NORTH of Beaujolais and spent 3 hours at lunch. She received a bottle of white winery from one of the winery owner.
She excited us by telling us "I have a surprise for you." and explained that she will take us to a great view to enjoy the wine that she got. However, she just drove us back to our hotel and took the bottle of wine for herself. The tour ended much earlier than she initially informed us. 700 euro is way overpriced for this short deceiving tour. I request a 50% refund.

Magical portugal wine tours
This is the second time we have used winerist to plan our wine tours while in europe. This last trip included a tour of the douro valley wines and the following day vino verde region. The guies were exceptional and informative. Douro was beautiful and included a fabulous lunch and river cruise. The wineries chosen were special. One larger and one family business. Vino verde was also special. Again one larger estate with a fabulous guide named gui and delicious lunch. The second estate was smaller. They only offered two wines and no snacks so although very enjoyable we felt something missing on the vino verde day. All in all winerist has helped us plan customized tours with pick up and drop off at our hotel. We has a wonderful trip
