Total scam My husband and I were suppose to be attending a murder mystery event by Wine Escape which cost us £120 the event was cancelled at 3pm the day of the event.
I called the hotel and this event had never been booked.
Apparently, none of the hotels have been booked. They just take your money.

Wine Escapes looks like a legitimate website but they don’t actually book the venues. The venues know nothing about any events. They do not respond to any messages.
SCAM. Paid £383 for table of 6. Only to find out the day before the Venue never even had a booking.
I booked onto the 2 March Wine Escape in Watford. On the day before the event they cancelled saying that two performers were unable to take part and offered a refund or an enhanced experience at a future event. I’ve tried contacting Wine Escape for the past 2 weeks via Facebook and email but have not received any response.
Overpriced meal in conference room in a cheap hotel. NO WINE INCLUDED in the "Wine Escape" ticket price. AVOID.
