We selected Window Nation based on their “one-day guarantee” and assurances the job would be completed before Thanksgiving. Instead, this turned into a prolonged, stressful experience involving delays, property damage, safety hazards, and serious management failures.
Key issues during our project:
• The installation began later than contractually stated and took five days instead of the promised one to three.
• Windows were intentionally broken during installation without prior warning, resulting in glass scattered throughout our home, driveway, rafters, and trim.
• Cleanup was inadequate. Glass continues to be discovered days later inside the home, creating legitimate safety hazards for both people and our dog, who had to remain out of the house at additional cost.
• Flooring was scratched and damaged during installation, requiring outside estimates for repair or replacement.
Management and oversight concerns:
Terry Fulmer, the Branch/Operations Manager, assured us that all employees are thoroughly vetted before being allowed into customers’ homes. However, during installation, Jordan, the Installation Manager, directly stated that the crews used are third-party installers that he personally does not get to meet before they are sent into customers’ homes.
This contradiction was extremely concerning. Customers are being led to believe vetted Window Nation employees are entering their homes, when in reality, unknown third-party contractors are being sent in without personal oversight by management.
Additionally:
• We were repeatedly pushed toward phone calls instead of written communication, even after explicitly requesting email documentation.
• Verbal assurances regarding cleanup, repairs, and compensation were difficult to get confirmed in writing.
• Responsibility for ensuring the home was safe and fully remediated ultimately fell on us rather than Window Nation.
We made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve these issues professionally through walkthroughs, documentation, and reasonable settlement proposals. Despite this, resolution required excessive follow-up, time off work, and persistent pressure on our part.
Bottom line:
This experience reflects failures not only at the crew level, but at the branch management and oversight level. If you choose Window Nation, document everything, insist on written communication, and do not rely on verbal assurances regarding safety, staffing, or advertised guarantees. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.

The installers were very efficient, clean, neat and polite. This team had great work ethics and worked together seamlessly. The replacement windows are fabulous. However, the salesman should have explained in depth how much window sill we would lose, and the framing is larger that what we had, so we have lost some glass area which is sad.
However, the tightness and strength of the windows seem to be makng a difference in the house temperatures. Time will tell if it was worth it.

The guys did a great job, they had broken language, so it was a little hard to communicate. What the lead man did well. But they're caulking..., should have had more patience, it should have taken their time more. There's a lot of bumps in it.
One week in and I do think they are beautiful. I think I learned do not put windows in in the winter.

Our entire home install (including bay window and patio door) was completed in a full day. Our crew (James and James) worked outside in the bitter cold; I don't think they even had a break. There was no debris left behind either inside or outside.

We still will be in a process of installing more windows, but what is already installed- helped us tremendously with warmth during these first months of cold! Looks nice, awesome owner and people who worked for him! Thank you installers who were quick and cautious (they vacuumed as they go all the dust form the project- i loved it!).

Was surprised no work done to wall interior. With old house and potential for rot in the wall and mold, i expected stuff done.

I was disappointed that the windows were even installed there are pieces that are cracked on the window casing on two windows. the windows also do not stay open when raised. So disappointed with the quality!

The only thing that went right on my house windows was the screen repair that was done.
My interior trim doesn’t match
They were not replacing all interior trim as what was discussed. So some was being replaced and others not. Until I complained. Then it cost me more. 1 bathroom window was measured but not ordered, which is partially my fault as well for not verifying. When that window did show up and get installed. It was a different crew with different trim sizes than before. So now we have the trim installed on all windows, but different sizes. I’m not dealing with it again so I’ll fix this myself.

Sub contractors were awful. Still cleaning up the mess they left in my yard. Left damage in my bathroom without telling me. Left my house exposed to the cold weather for 8 hours without heat being on. Not impressed

Sales person spent a long time here but missed some critical points. The guy that took the measurements had an attitude when I told him we wanted this to go perfect, Installer has a bad attitude from the start, windows have gaps inside & locks take 2 people to get them to lock, screens rattle horribly when it’s windy. They are a cheap window… you get what you pay for. These will be getting replaced within the next five years. This house was built in 1840 and no one in the company cared.
