Excellent communication and service

Trading rules are vague. I lost my account due to a news rule, but nowhere on their website do they specificy the timezone in which the news rule apply. If they don't specify something as crucial as that, then I won't be suprised if they do the same for other rules to get you to spend more money instead of making money with Windlu. For now at least, I do not recommend Windlu.

Windlu is awesome ..when you follow the rules you will get payouts without a hassle i recommend this propfirm

Having Followed Windlu on Socials for a while and seeing people getting funded through Windlu i Decided to give it a go, and i can say i have not once been disappointed , I'm still new to Prop firms and Windlu has made a great first impression, the team is on the ball, they are helpful, the options you get from them to trade is great. I look forward to a Long and Prosperous journey with Windlu

The evaluation phase is straightforward and their trading platform works well, it is however vastly different from the live account with sneaky rules that make your live account feel like it's on borrowed time. When my friend breach his live account due to average lot size rules and we saw all the sneaky rules, I knew I'd be lucky to achieve a payout.

During the evaluation phase, every lot size of every trade you did gets tallied to achieve an average lot size for every forex, commodity and indice you traded. You cannot go 2.5X higher on your lot sizes in your live account for EACH thing you traded. They don't send you your average lot sizes unless you ask for it, and if you didn't trade something during your evaluation phase, then you can't trade it during your live account, because you don't have an average lot size allocated.

The above along with the fact that if you open/close, hit TP or SL 10 mins before or after red folder news, you get instant blocked from your account and have no way of getting it open again. You cannot pay a reduced fee to try again, just the full fee.

It feels like a hostile environment working against you. Get something else like funded next, FTMO or goat funded. Just watch out for sneaky rules because they all have them, but not as bad as here. Windlu is especially bad because the live account is just so different from the evaluation phase.

Like All other prop-firms, they need to beef up their disciplinary measures. The breach of account on news trading is a bit harsh as sometimes this can be done in error. I pass both evaluation phases only to get slapped with a hard breach.I would understand if it was a repeated offence.

Excellent user friendly

Thus far I really enjoy the platform. I might not have had multiple accounts with them but the process is seamless and the support is good. Normally we have some local South African prop firms that don’t live up to the standards of others abroad but I’m really happy with Windlu. Their recent upgrade to MT5 is a great addition. Let’s see if we can build some wealth over a long period and how the withdrawals go.
